Hey everyone! There has been a long gap between the last post and this one and I do have lot to divulge to my pensive.

Today happens to a very special day, as of 18 - March - 2011 I am no longer a engineering student but a COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING GRADUATE (Technically, I am stilling awaiting my results and convocation dress, and lets not to forget the degree!). Anyways, I had an amazing time over the last week, as i completed my project review (in style!) and had farewell parties for 3 continues days! However, today is most of the most special day as it was the official final farewell day hosted by the college.

Yesterday, we had a marvelous get together at Radiant Resorts where we danced, swam, gossiped, played variety of indoor and outdoor games and even had a very memorable game of truth and dare!

The below video is the final project demo. We remodeled the study lamp by adding a mini projector and a web cam to it to make an "Smart Lamp" or what we like to call Assisted Learning device (Actually, this was our title of our project!). I am back again, after a very long time. Over the past few months a lot has transpired and some of which were life changing events.

On my previous blog post, which I have just had the pleasure of readin

g, i seem to have mentioned about my ambitions for an early MBA degree. Well, after due diligence,research and enduring spam from a lot of MBA money leaches and bit of soul searching I recently came to a conclusion that it certainly wasn't right for me at this point of time. Hence, my MBA plans have come to a premature end. Experience of the process is always fruitful in someways, however this experience came at a pretty heavy cost, due to ludicrous application fees. :(

During the last month I have made new friends, who are

now incidentally also my business partners and hence have rekindle my entrepreneurial aspirations. We (Will mention their names in the next post, after company registration) are all set to take the detour, so called unbeaten path and dive into the entrepreneurship soon which might leave with even little time for posting blog posts. I already feel that i have splurged enough of my life on facebook and am resenting the idea of crossing the line, by posting too much of myself online anyways.

I have just stepped into my final semester, the final chapter, of my - " extra or

dinary " engineering life. Firstly, I must give an heads up to any junior reading this blog - the final sem project is more than what it seems. At times you might feel over whelmed with whats been asked from you all of a sudden. You might crib for not having the perfect project, perfect skillet or the perfect team but I guess thats what makes it so interesting. After all life isn't perfect but one has to learn to deal with it. I guess the project in some essence helps you prepare for the extra ordinary life outside the campus. If anyone claims to have h

ad a breeze through the project they are probably lying. I am reminded of what Stephen Hawking says, " Life and universe exist because nothing is perfect" - indeed a huge revelation to me. Fortunately, I have been blessed with the perfect project, near perfect skill set and perfect team! ;) We presented our project infront of a panel yesterday and received great response which is certainly motivational. Few others are even skeptical whether we can pull it off! We'll show them.. :)

Been having lot of fun lately, since i have been working on things a like and taking things slowly, YEP! I growing old, darn it! I guess my happiness will be short lived as boot strap season is upon me!

Proposed Infosys Campus In Kuwait.

Oh i almost forgot, I am one amongst 260 students who were selected by Infosys on day 1 of campus placements. It was pretty memorable 2 day event. On the first day we had a written test and on the second an interview. Truck load of HR's descended to grill students or so i thought. My interview lasted 3 minutes, 60 year old man asked me 7 questions all of which were on Football! After waiting the whole day in kickass formals, we got to know the results. Surprisingly enough, I still don't know how i feel about this! I guess when one has options one can underestimate how lucky one is! But only time will tell.

Thats a picture of me on my family farmland in AP. I had recently been to AP to attend paternal uncle's marriage and also pay a visit maternal uncle who unfortunately suffered major heart ailment. Fortunately, he is on speedy recovery.

I am really looking forward to the last semester and experiences it has to offer. I would promise to post more often, but somehow i feel the last semester might not be that generous and allow me live up to that promise. Sorry, Furture Avi! I know you want to read more about your engineering experience from this pensive of your 21 year old self. I shall certainly try my best! :) Now to watch the season 6 and episode 15 of How i met your mother.

A more aggresive, impatient and frenzy world!

Alas, The good ol' days are gone! The world has become obsessed about information, speed of delivery and efficiency by multitasking! I am starting to observe the first signs of stress and i really wish i do not burnout in this new impatient world. I miss my younger, more cheerful self! Reading back a couple of post reminiscing about how i had everything figured and the world made a lot more sense! (since i knew very little about it!) Made me want to catalogue my thoughts to preserve a small glimpse of myself at this juncture in life. Being a technology student i should be happy so see such prosperity in the field of technology however, i feel that this boom has started a negative spiral in the human society. Gone are the days, where you could while away your time sitting on the front porch or in the beautiful gardens of DSCE campus and talk to friends about irrelevant topics. Today, its all about sending emails, carrying work home, working through smart phones and laptops, having conference calls and tagging people on facebook! Digital life is very superficial! I think as people grow old the only reason they become more "mature" ( more boring to be precise ) is that they learn about processes and rules and that's where they start trying to fit i n and do what is the norm of the society. I am exhausted with all of it and am in dire need of a vacation.

I think the reason for the stress is due to the fact that for once i haven bitten more than i can chew. My headed has been polluted with career options, projects and constant bombardment of new information that the world is producing and streaming right infront to me. I have also registered for management exams of all acronyms possible (Probably my first mistake), on top of that i have no clue about Java and C# which are bread & butter subjects for computer Science Engineers. Well, you might say that the solution is pretty easy and you are partly right. Both of these can be solved if I spent some time in preparing for them. I hope what i say next will not lead you to judge me in anyway! But the real culprit is "Time" or gather the lack my skills to manage it well during this semester.

The semester too started off on a bad note with the CampusUnify project, which i was working on with my friends, hadn't reached its deployment stage as planned. There was a lot of activity and development but unfortunately the product itself hasn't yet seen the light of day! Its currently on hold and will probably be restarting it in jan. However there were a few bright and happy moments during the semester which i would like to highlight, for instance i had played host for the inaugural event of Coffee with CEO where we had invited Suhas Gopinath( Youngest Entrepreneur in the world ) and quiety recently, i won a paper presentation competition. I presented a paper on "CrowdComputing using SocialCredits" where i talked about how to create a cloud application which can leverage the new social fabric of internet (using facebook or google id) to provide new employment opportunities. What sought of applications, where to deploy and how to reward was what my paper talked about. It was a research paper which gave a an interesting observations about business process outsourcing will evolve over the internet by 2020. Fortunately, judges loved it and we were rewarded. I must acknowledge the contributions made Apoorva, who basically took care of the report writing and format. Its a great working alongside with her! The work just fell into place, intuitively we knew our responsibilities and executed it timely.

I have my TOEFL exam due in a week and GMAT due on Dec 2nd. Will let you know how my experience was and maybe even the scores as well provided they are worthy being published! :)

Yet Another Milestone to Write about!

6th sem coming to an end! 3rd year of engineering coming to an end! :)

Today was my graphics lab exam and i passed with flying colors! The program posed no challenge and neither did the project viva. The evaluator who turned to be a female lecturer from BNMIT (Probably from Andhra Pradesh) was extremely pleased with the work that we put into the project. She also recognised that it was homemade and not taken from the internet which was very satisfying.

The program which i had got for my Lab exam was to create what you see in the below image.

The below Diagram shows you my Graphics project. Its an interactive room where you can switch on and off the fans, tv and even lamp. When you switch off the lamp you will be able to enjoy the moon light coming from the window.

So My internals marks for 6th semester totalled to 197/200 and now i am pretty sure i have scored 45+/50 in Graphics lab. Up next is System Software lab which will be held on Monday 1st june 2010.

Another thing i am very excited about is the StartUp City event, which i will be attending on this Saturday! I hope will help spark new ideas since i am currently running dry on inspiration. :)

The 6th semester has been pretty hectic thanks to challenging subjects as well the college work which i took responsibility of. I have failed to mention one of my greatest achievements as a webdesigner happened this semester! I had the oppurtunity to create a website dedicated to our department which was extremely well recieved for the amazing intuitive design,collaborative tools and tons of the other useful features like forum, News Reel, Download Section etc. I am very proud of the work. Though i was little apprehensive of commiting to it initially, it proved to be a good learning experience as well as something that was so right to do. I feel like i have left a legacy in my institute which is absolutely fantastic!

I have also started thinking about setting up a company during the summer. So far i have built a team of 10, yet i feel the team does lack skill, experience but i guess startups are always built this way. I hope this Saturday i will learn more solutions to the problems that i am facing especially in the relm of organisational Structuring and figuring out the product packages! :)

Memorable Class trip to GOA

The whole event was cataloged by Bharat on his cell phone! Wrote round about 150 lines on his tiny cell! I thought his version would be a pretty acurate enough since it was done live! :) So hope your enjoy the read.

We started around 10pm from college on thursday.The journey was amazing.Had lots of fun in the bus,we were dancing,singing,stopping near every shop on da way in the night,for eating.Avinash almost killed me,while sleeping beside me.Took a room in mureleshwar and had bath.Then went 2 shiva temple,had free lunch there itself.The staue of LORD SHIVA was huge and beautiful.After that, went around the temple and took some pics.After that tuk a choco bar and got into the bus.I almost felt like heaven when i came into bus from boiling temperature outside.Then we started 2 ankola.On the way ,me and avinash couldn't control our sleep,while others were singing songs.We got down at preteesh's house.Had some snacks in his house.Some people had fun in his house.Next,went to beach in ankola,it was the most romantic and beautiful beach i ever saw.The nature's beauty was at its best.If u ever want 2 propose your valentine this will be an option for you.Some interesting things happened here.Avinash lost his sunglasses while playin in water, and some1 robbed his undy,main suspect being anush.Subhashini's cam fel in water,as f now not sure its workin or not.Most of our clothes got wet,even though we placed them at sufficient distance 4m sea,thank god mine were safe.At the end preetesh lost 1 f his sandal.Then he threw the 2nd one also into the beach.We seriously had a gr8 time here,but the most irritating part was durin changin our clothes,each part of our body was itchin with sand.Then had some omlets and boiled eggs in Ankola itself and then started 2 karwar.We got a decent lodge in karwar.I Had dinner outside in a beach side hotel with only ma best buddies(Anush,Avinash,Pavan),while others had in the lodge where we stayed,since they were not ready to come out.

5th sem results announced! Less than Satifactory.

Hey guys! A quick post. My 5th sem results were announced today. Secured 70 percent to the dot and scraped a FCD ( First Class with Distinction ). Though the results have brought a huge relief, as i cleared all my subjects. There was a lot of rumors running around about ludicrous Pass percentages for some subjects and that certain papers were misplaced.

Feeling very feverish. Lets hope, i get well soon by tom morning. Goodnight.

Its a "Kingfisher IndiBlogger" which will be held in Indranagar! Way far way for guys from South. But i guess the incentive to meet Pro Bloggers and added to that Kingfisher is also sponsoring Beer! I know i being a wuss, but i hope they have drink options for Non alcoholics as well :).

Things is college are happening full throttle. There has been a sea of change in the attitude and method of teaching this year. Good practices are being adopted, lets hope the end results is great as well. I even heard that Dayananda Sagar featured 17th best college in India in one the Magazine ratings. Though these positions are bought, it nice to see DSI wanting to be at the top so badly. This attitude to be first will indirectly help us in some way or the other.

I am currently working on the first edition of the "Concept Papers" that we are launching this semesters under the name " THE PARADIGM ". Will be putting up more pics of it soon.

Well, hopefully will have something more ground breaking soon! :) All iz well so far.

My SECOND trip to COORG! Dooh!

Hey everyone! Had been to Coorg couple of days ago. It was a two day trip with few of my classmates. I must emphasize on few part. Just 6 of us! 3 boys and 3 girls. I have uploaded the pics onto Picasa.

This is going to sound very silly and stupid but i actually did not know that we were going to the same place i had been to a year ago. Though a year seems a long time, my memories of the tourist places came flooding back to me all at once, when we landed at Coorg or what is also called Madekeri.

Nevertheless going with friends is not the same as holidaying with parents. I guess this makes sense in many ways. We become more miserly when it comes to spending for food and other things which is never the case when we are with parents, where we always wanna buy stuff that is think is cool and won't get in Bangalore... and we want to lodge is the best hotels etc. But when you are with friends its all about jumping around one place to another quickly and spending very little on food and accessories so that the trip cost can be as minimal as possibly can. This time our 2 day trip cost us around Rs 1200. 80 percent of that went into transport! So i guess you can imagine the kinda food we had during while touring the beautiful and scenic parts of Coorg. heh.. I am only exaggerating of course. We spent quite good amount on snacks and our accommodation and dinner was provided to us from our class mates who lives in Coorg. We are definitely are indebted to her and her parents who were great hosts and left no stone unturned and catered to all our needs with our our requests.

I needed that break i guess, i actually like traveling.. its very relaxing and freshens up your mind. A break from the dailly routine does have its rewards i promise you!! If you feel stressed. Pack your bags and head out! Go as far as you can AFFORD(hehe) so that there is no way possible for your brain to think about work. Some people use yoga and other Art of Living exercises, but i feel this has provides more guaranteed results.

My CAT class in TIME institute are going pretty well. I am not sure about belling the CAT for any mediocre institute but i actually like the information that they are providing. It the kinda of information and training i have been looking for. I feel that i need to start making an effort to eat when being spoon fed. :)

I had delivered a presentation in college to an audience which consisted of all the HOD of all the disciplines of engineering and other institutes of DSI and also Prem Chandra Sagar, the Vice Chairman of DSI. It was very kind gesture from my Head of department to give me opportunity to talk in front of the entire management, on the proposal for a new website. I put my best foot forward and made a god presentation by my standards, which was very well received. I also played an important role in defining the new requirements for the website to the web development company called "Tech web India" that has been maintaining the college websites for the past 10 years. Its been a exhilarating experience, one which has no doubt has taught me many important lessons on "Work estimation" and "Task delegation" which i will keep in mind rest of life.

I am looking forward to the new semester, my 6th sem in engineering with excitement and clear understanding of my goals and commitments. :) This year is going to be my acedamic year of excellence.

I have good news share, the college recently welcomed Infosys into the campus for recruitment who in return took 265 students. In all round about 300 students have been seleted so far and it seems like more companies will follow suit. The college is eagerly awaiting Wipro and Mind Tree who according to a rumor that was passed on to me by a friend of a friend of friend who's friend is a friend of the placement coordinator. :)

During these holidays i have completely wrecked my sleep pattern and know am able to stay awake till 1 in the morning which i used to find something impossible to do during the exams and weekdays. Lets hope this new found feature will find constructive use in my life.

Well, my blogging has taken a serious set back in 5th semester, i think i have written only 5 posts this semester. Nevertheless the year hasn't come to an end yet, will try to squeeze in as many posts as possible before the the clock strikes 12 on the 31st of December.

5th sem by far has been the most hectic of all semesters in terms of college activities. All that stress and additional work load has taken a serious toll on my body and mind and hence i am heading to Mumbai to seek solace and some respite from the daily routine and maybe get a chance to reinvent myself.

I will be traveling by train, its an one day journey which i will be sharing with my mom! I feel she too deserves a break from the boredom of the house. I have definately neglected my body and caused extensive damage to my back, eyes and fingers. These exams also felt very different from the other semesters. I just was not myself for the past one month, behaved very much out of character, which scares me actually! Makes me wonder if i have lost my marbles! So i guess you can see why i need this holiday desperately.

Anyways, my android phone buy is still on hold and hopefully when i come back i will be able to seal a deal and get HTC tattoo at a good price. I must pay a visit to National market and snoop around to see it i can get my hands on iphone for a relatively good price.

My holiday schedule is also very tight, have made a lot of commitments and being myself will do my best in honoring each of them. Will have to work on completing the WALL functionality as well as setting second base in HYD. Will also have to look into quite a few things in relation to my internet ventures - unfortunately they are not something i can elaborate at the moment but will keep you posted on failure or success of these mini ops and goals.

Honestly speaking i think i have to reorganize and re-prioritize these commitments or else I will be making it more worse for myself moving forward. I will be returning back home on 5th hopefully will lots and lots of pics and stories to share! :)

Have prepared a list of things i hope to do I Mumbai and the one of the things that appear at the top most is visiting my old school and the apartments where i used to live long ago in 1998. Its been a decade since i have been to Mumbai! So very excited.

Saw Avatar today! Its definitely earns a spot in my list of my favourite movies of all time. The attention to detail was exquisite and absolutely mind blowing! Hats off to the director - David Cameroon, I think..
Anyways.. its 1 30 AM!!! I record for me! Never stayed up this late! :) Anyways.. Will go to bed now! Catchya later.

5th sem is almost over!

I am writing this blog post on the last unofficial working day of 5th sem. The last 10 days have been absolutely fun packed, with soo many events. First there was the Freshers party which was a big success! will be uploading more pics related that soon, hopeful! :)
Secondly been involved in designing the College website and implementing enterprise email services to the college. The work has started and we(Preetesh, Dude from the other sec) have started the work but have a very long way to go from here.

Today was one of those very rare day in this semester. Didn't do much in college! Had a breather, you can put that way i suppose.. :)

hhmm.. lets see.. what else is worthy of cataloging in this xtraordinary blog! hhmm.. ahah! CAT.

I have joined TIME for CAT coaching! I actually had no intention to take up MBA here, but wanted to take up GMAT unfortunately a lot of people advised me against it since i have no work experience and it seems it very difficult for freshers to be selected in foreign university. Nonetheless my top priority remains to get a seat in the best possible university abroad if not then, i will have to settle for the top 20 to 30 colleges in India! IIMS and the other institutes in top 10 list are outta my list for sure! The competition is insane and will be probably filled with savants of india! So really i do not see any reason why i should be hopeful of landing a seat in one of them. The CAT classes have just started and i haven't yet got the real taste of the TIME training yet and i promise to keep you posted on that. I am in the weekend batch (CDX12).

xtraordinary blogger back from slumber!

Been away from blogger for way too long. What really keeps me off is the urge to catalog the days which i have not yet written about... Then a feeling of lethargy takes over and i am no longer inclined to typing and venting out passion blog posts. Today i have a motivation! Just completed my second internals of fifth semester and i feel very elated. Its been a long time since i have had this calm feeling, when my heart is not pounding with such determination to find some solution to problems either at home, college or with the venture that i own.

Okay so to pen down(Key down rather) my thoughts and let you into what happened during my temporary absence from the blogger world!

1. Nandhi Hills. :

We had been to nandhi Hills on 18th sept 2009.Starting off early in the morning at 3 AM.! The photos are put up on picasa and i think they are more than self explanatory of what happened there! :)

2. TechSpark

We have started a new Student Tech forum in our college. One of the first of its kind in Dayananda Sagar. More info available on the official forum website - ( Another exhbit of my work - ).

3. PETS :

Oh, this is really interesting story! We had a paper presentations competition in our classroom where a team of 5 should present their .. well paper! lol.. Kunal, Neeraj, Navodit, Bharath were the other 4 members of our team, which we codenamed PETS for a reason which will be apparent in a moment. So, there we were.. 5 guys who had no clue what to do.. none of us are experts at anything related to technology! I guess thats what made us gel well together as a team.. We had a one hour session for idea pooling and we came up with this crazy idea to generate electricity through keystrokes. We started our research and within no time hit apon something called the Peizo electric material. We made a small presentation and also an experimental model by buying couple of peizo electric material and LEDS. Check out the video.. All i am doing is typing and the LEDS are glowing!

Got to go, will be back with more in info on my trip to IIT Madras tomorrow. Going over to Bharaths place for a sleepover party!

5th sem gets crazier!

Its been almost 20 days since my college reopened. The 5th sem has been quite different from before. Friends have become a little closer, Subjects more connected to computers and oh by the way we still have our same old horrible class room. The migration is finally completed, Things didn't work out too well with justhost.com. So had to shift to VPS hosting at VPSLAND. Things have been okay so far, but little skeptical about the reviews i am reading about VPSland. Lets just hope i get lucky and don't have problems.

I had early promised i would put up pics of my class but i never seem to get around to it! Always been preoccupied with some shit or the other! Anyways, a friend of mine from class, Bhuvan who is also our class rep has made a cool sideshow of our 2nd year trips and parties in Dayananda Sagar.

Things are back to normal again, the results week at vtualerts was extremely hectic and demanding.

The swine flu scare has come down a little, just like all the other major incidents that take place in India such as the mumbai terror attack, story which only lasted for 15 days. I guess Swine flu has much more following because of its tendency to spread to anyone! and everybody can relate to it.When i first heard about the 2 students in IS dept being infected with H1N1 i decided not to go to college for a couple days unfortunately we were punished for being over precocious and bunking classes... Typical of our department!

Man.. all these sweets are giving me a lot of gas!!! Oh forgot to wish everyone Happy Ganesh Chaturthi! :) Well gtg! Before i blow in front of the screen itself! lolzzzz.... Bye..

Showdown Begins! Results, Migration and College!

Things are getting a little sticky again. I fear this week i might be over worked! According to the latest news(its more like gossip) our 4th sem results will be out during this week. vtualerts.com is crashing again due to high volume traffic and since my host provider has a limitation of 10 concurrent mysql users and 50k mysql queries an hour! One of reasons why i have shifted my host account to justhost.com. My college will be opening on 6th... So its gonna get very tight! Hoping for a clean migration, the new servers ought to decrease the downtime to vtualerts.com and hopefully it will be properly transferred to justhost.com account by the day after tomorrow.

Its my bro's birthday tomorrow. Have still have to decide on a gift to present him. Any suggestions on what might be a good gift for a 16 year old? Well got to run. Will post more later!

Week into my 4th sem holidays.

Been some time since i have posted almost a month i think. The 4th sem exams went alright, better than expected. Lets hope the results are not a mismatch to my expectations. A couple of days ago, www.vtualerts.com got a makeover and it now has a much faster and structured interface. I feel i have not suceeded in making it look less cramped than before. Something i will have to work on for the next version. There have been a few unsubcriptions, which i feel is more related to the fact the students have graduated out of VTU rather than anything else. The overall subcription rate is steady though and increasing at a good pace.

Work has started on www.iwebble.com. Couple of my pals are helping me out with enriching the content. I do have short term plans for the site, but i fear the sucess rate seem to be bleak in the field in which iwebble.com is immersed itself it. It will take radical new techniques to get page views on to the site. I have a few plans already and will post them in due time.

www.webcampuz.com is currently undergoing redesign as well. The version 4.0 is much more structure, looks very clean and is probably the most beatiful out of the 3 sites that i own. Though the devlopment has been slow, i hope to make it really good before i release it. I expect it to be ready before the casual vancany round of KCET. Currently working on the final stages - pagination and having a static front page with dynamic RSS.

I am also engrossed myself in lot of movies! I have watched about 15 movies in 3 days. Thats got be some kinda record i think. I am currently listening to Audio book of "THE PATNER" written by John Grisham. I love his style of naration. Really ups the anti a little bit!

Just found out that, iwebble.com has come IE browser issues! Donno when IE will start being website friendly.

Well, got get back to work i suppose.

Oh forgot to mention! I am currently taking car driving classes. I am done with 3 classes so far, and i feel i have got the hang of it. I have lots more classes to go though.. i still have to learn to reverse and park. :P

I have restarted my Gym sessions.. which are becoming more of a gossip sessions as Anush has joined me. :)

I had my Microprocessor lab external exams on Monday, and it seems that my luck continues, got the toughest experiment outta 30 to choose from! This has been a sought of tradition i think which started in the first sem when i was blessed with tough experiment for my first lab externals and even surprising is that fact that i come out victorious time and again. But gawd! Microprocessor lab is different, its probably the toughest lab that a computer science engineer has to face. There is special program, we like to call the "11 B" which is about 160 lines of assembly language code and its used to simulate calculator using a keyboard interface. Let me give you an illustration of tough this program is... Till date who ever has got this program been able to excute tha damn thing in their lab externals. Some students don't even bother preparing for it. Fortunately, Genius that i am ! lol... got the output!! yipee.. The word seems to have spread through out the college as well, Its quite funny really! Now they talk about me as if i am a World war 2 veteran survivor! Lol, indeed this is similar to what i felt when i walked outta of the lab unscathed :)

I haven't got a new phone yet! My hearts leaning towards the new Iphobe 3s, which hopeful my dad will get me when he is off to London again in July... I am in desperate search for a touch - smart phone which comes at the right price! Apple has dropped the prices of iphone to 99 dolars for their new version called iphone 3g S.... Fingers crossed by the end of July atleast i will be carrying a new phone. I currently have a vintage motorollo v500 which was created during the ice age probably! Doesn't even have save message feature! Its very good looking phone though!

Well, got my OOPS lab externals on 15th.. and my theory exams will start on June 24th. Got to get back to my boring books.. And oh ya! Parents have gone to Hyderabad to attend my cousin sisters marraige.. Very unfortunate that i couldn't join them! The marriage is on 15th so there was no way i could go jeopardising my OOPS lab! Anyways maybe this peace and quite will help me get some reading done!!! Alrighty.. My next post will be on 15th after my OOPS lab externals.. :) Lets hope i have no complaints!

Records!!!! Real headache!

Man, tough week continues. Wrote two records sitting from 11 in the morning till 8 pm yesterday, its still incomplete... Went out to resort to cool myself today! The whole month has been incredibly packed! So, today is my day off.. Watching the second IPL semi's, Bangalore vs Chennai. Chennai have got off to a good start, fingers crossed Bangalore can crush them! Little bro has got his first cell phone - Samsung beat series F270. Not something which i like but he kinda fell in love with stupid dual slide. The keypad in extremely thin and not very finger finger i must say!

Have lab internals on May 28 so got really prepare for that! I am little worried about the the microprocessor lab.. Would soo relieved to get it over with. Anyways going for dinner now.. ciao.

New ipl ads blog!

Just completed my 3rd and last internals for 4th semester. Was involved in a ton of work! Got lab records to complete and everything. Had to work on my site, keep them up to date.. as lot of people count on me to provide valuable information :). As of now my web ventures are going a pretty good job and hanging in there! There are fortunately not too big, so things still under control.

Started a new blog on blogspot for IPL Ads. Here is the link : http://www.iplads.blogspot.com. It took me round about 3 hours to make this site, and its totally for the killing some time. Its just a fun experiment that i am doing. Was sitting watching the IPL match when i grew frustrated that i am unable to cash in on the IPL craze when i got this idea. Actually this idea was extrapolated from someone else idea. Read an article few days ago in economic times about a person who has cataloged all the crazy Axe ads in a blogspot site and i thought why not do the same for IPL! and luckily nobody had thought of doing the same! So, i was the first to get there and hence got the URL!

Was working on a college tech magazine the whole of last week actually! Very tiring stuff! It was no doubt fun.. We didn't even have a weekend. Definitely goes in to the top 10 hard working days category, last week does.. seriously!

Oh forgot to mention, we built a line follower robot - named it ThunderBird. Thats the thing in the pic! Its our first robot! I will probably be getting into the thick of it during these semester holidays.. Very interested in entering FIRA a competition for automated football playing robots which will be held in India in the year 2010. :) Its a far goal but lets keep our fingers crossed and hope that dream can be achieved.

Have decided to put in a lot of effort into Algorithm Design and Microprocessor Programming this week. I haven't got off to a very good start as you can tell by this long post that i typing and whiling away precious time... lol. Will have to start at least after lunch. :) Procrastination has become my second nature these days.. very sad to say that but its true.. Got to get back into the old Avinash.. and kick some butt again. Phew.. alright i think i have poured enough soul into this post. ciao later.. netizens.

Praveen's ( my little bro ) has joined Jain College the same college that i went into for 11th and 12th. He got selected in AIEEE entrace coaching test. He is getting a new cell as well!! Probably a samsung S3500.

Dad will be going to UK again soon so maybe this time i get my Android phone. If not an Iphone. I really need a smart phone. I think it will really help with the kinda work that i am involved in. I need a phone thats pro internet experience. As far i know Android and iphone are the front runners in this arena.

My internals just got over. It went alright i guess. The clip questions( Teachers gives us a set of 10 questions from which the paper is set ) helped a lot! Unfortunately the last paper Computer organisation didn't go as planned. Lets hope the correction isn't as stupid as the last time..

Feeling quite tired and bored these days. Haven't been able to be myself for a while. I think i am probably lossing the " Anything is possible feeling ". I guess it comes with age but heck i am just 19!

The only reason i am still on blogspot is probably because of the oath i had taken to catalog my entire engineering life. So, even though the updates might be less frequent, i will be a blogger for the coming 2 years.

I think i am getting a small tummy! Haven't gone to the gym for 2 months and i eat like a pig! I better restart the gym sessions from the start of next month.

Our VTU exam time table is out. This time i think i will go full throtle. Need to prove to myself that i can get 80 plus if i want to. I better start little early. I haven't yet bought books for 2 subjects. So first i need to buy books! lol.. :)

I watched the new X men movie today - the X men origins. pretty lame but a time pass anyways. The story is about wolverine.. hhmm they probably cant think of anything more interesting to build on.

gtg. IPL mathc about to start. Delhi vs Chennai match was pretty interesting one. Probably the only interesting match of the season so far the rest of the match have been confortable wins or washed away due to rain.

Past few weeks have been quite intense. We had paper presentation to work on which went quite well, and then MP lab internals which went bad! Well lots of things to talk about actually!

1stly : Let me tell you about the paper presentation :

The team consisted of 3 members. Anush and Aditya comprising the other two. We picked a topic called semantic web and the idea was to explain to people where the web was headed and to give them a general perceptive of the web 3.0 . Ours was most definately a winner in terms of content and pesntation wise, unfortunately we gave our pesentation first and this was before the judging panel arrived! So it kinda messed up our chances of being recoginised as one of the contenders for the price. Actually when we started the judging panel consisited of 2 senior judges and then later on, few other teachers came in a took over. I am not complaining, as we got rave reviews from my mates and audience and i was able to convince them about web 3.0 which is such a passionate topic for me. I have already made plans for the next presentation and lets hope for the best! :) Being optimistic will pay off some time or later.

2ndly : The MP lab

This was held the consecutive day after the presentation, i really didn't have time to prepare and i must admit it was an half hearted attempt. I was hoping that since our college fest was being held on the same day, the test will be postponed. Unfortunately nothing of that sort happened and i paid the price dearly. Well theres the 2nd lab internals! I am being optimistic again! :)

3rdly : iwebble.com

iwebble.com which recently started off a tech magazine is doing pretty good. Its off to a very good start and most importantly i like working on it! Its a fantastic feeling! There have been many changes to iwebble.com. If you have followed this blog for way too long! you probably be aware of this and may also be a little spectical of the progress but i really do enjoy reading and wirting this tech articles so i don't think i will stop!! i guess thats all thats required for a web blog! Not stopping feeding content into it! More the content more the possibility of page views! I have also gather couple of students who specialize in a particular branches of engineering. Dheeraj, who is one my best friends has kindly agreed to contribute for Mechanical news. Aareeth a friend from jain has agreed to write news articles regarding nano technology. Both of them are itellectually very capable! They spend a lot of time browsing and share the same interests in spreading awareness to peers. Lets hope the all goes well..

4thly : I finally managed to write the vtu result extraction algorithm! and it looks pretty good. There are a few more modifications to be made otherwise i am happy with what i have done.. Will be launching that pretty soon. :) I am just pondering over the page layout and whether to have advertising space for the results page as well. Will keep you posted on how that goes!

5thly : I seem be having some health problems. I have lost apetite and am losing interesting in things that used to interest me, my energy levels have dipped and am probably loosing weight as well.!! I need to find a solution quickly as i understand this is all nothing without health! So, i might not be typing out posts very frequently from now on! I have started twittering though to substitute the decrese in content, will give you the link in the follow up post.

Google let me down for the first time!

Google let me down for the first time today! Actually for the past two days. I don't entirely blame google for it, but i haven't found what i was looking for. This has happened tons of time before but google has always showed me something else as a consolation which turned out to be useful too! But this time, neither result nor any perks. I was looking to a small javascript sample code which can extract table values from html code... but in vain. I have been looking for the past 2 days, and nothing as come close to it. I do see a lot of httprequest syntaxs.. but thats no help. Anyways, look like i will lhave to refine my searches a little bit and try to write most of the code by myself. :P

Oh, i we had our internals over the weekend which went surprising well. we still haven't got our marks but i believe i managed to ace them. :)

Dad say i have to start my prep for GMAT or GRE soon... as i am already in the middle of 2nd year. I might as well heed to his advise as the current situation probably will leave me with little option. I might have to do higher studies not my choice but as an obligation if i don't get any campus placements....

Talked to Rahul and Jeelani yesterday night ( Old school time buddies ) and requested them to organise a reunion party this saturday... They have agreed to get on it.. So, thats something to look forward to i guess...

I pal in my class bought an second hand iphone for 13k today! Pretty cool, I got to play around wit it for a while. I now realize what the fuss is all about.. The screen clarity and the touch technology is quite amazing... PAR above HTC touch which my dad uses.

ohhh, i hope HTC magic which comes with Android is a little better! I really want an Android phone.. Maybe then i can start working on the Android Apps and stuff! It will be really cool! :) and also help me get some real time project work done. :)

Busy bee!

Oh my god! I have never been soo busy and tired in my life! My body is starting to show the stress, losing lot of colour and hair as well! boo hoo!! On top of that, we have our internals staring on Thursday. The only highlight of this week would be the fact that i have started working on a new project ..... http://www.iwebble.com. It is a student magazine. The inspiration came from a need and also a bit of histrop reading. I found out recently that Richard Branson - The CEO of virgin co. too started his business venture starting a student magazine. The need - I was searching for a portal / web magazine which gave me a overview of the latest developments in different fields on engineering. I couldn't find any so i decided to make one myself. It probably the best looking layout that i have used so far! Truely spectacular! Check it out and decide for yourself..This is not much of a business venture, more like a personal project which probably will be flaunted in my CV. My target is simple. Reach 200 posts in 3 months. So, thats by end of june - 200 posts. Thats probably, very much achieveable. :) If things are looking good and i am having fun then i start monetising it.

Well, i too complete rest today! but will have to buckle up again as the internals are just round the corner.

We had our freshers on thursday - 5th march 2009.. Mann.. it was probably the most valgur party i have ever been too! Some bits were really fun and funny as well...

Our class girls performed... They did a fusion of western and classical dancing, which was very well executed! :) I wish i could put up some pics.. but unfortunately i still haven't got my hands on decent 3.2 mp phone. The DAMN android phones are released in India yet!! I am waiting for a killer business phone, right now options in India ware very limited. We have the iphone with a ridiculus price tag and then HTC which is running windows! Thats bad enough reason not to buy it! :) Not to mention the price tag! :)

Fourth Sem - Too fast too furious

Yep, Too fast too furious is probably best describes the fourth semester life. In little less than 3 weeks almost 50 percent of every subject has been almost completed.. We have now shifted to a new classroom which is half the size of our previous one.. Its really congested and cramped and to top it off we have an array of rouge teachers who are no less civilised than Auto drivers. They have problem with the way we dress, talk, stand and even sit! They shout and talk like Auto drivers do, little sense and very rash..

There has been a drastic change in our class atmosphere. Suddenly outta of the blue.. people have started talkign baout projects and research etc. I am little spectical on how long this attitude will last but it is definately a welcoming change. People have started grouping and formulating plans and proposols to get their idea from paper to real life. As always.. commitment is essential and it will be interesting to see how things span out.

The subjects this semester seem to be a lot more interesting than the previous 3 semester. We are into hard core computer Science.. finally and i am learning something incremental in my computer science field.

I have also taken up listening to a variety of audio books and currently undergoing a youtube lecture sestions on internet given by an IIT lecturer, which happen to be very enlightening..!

Trip to vizag and Araku

Hey, everyone. I am back in Bangalore after 4 day trip to vizag and Araku. Oh, the trip was fantastic. Pavan whom i have introduced ( Friends from my college, who is telecom branch ) is resident there. He played host to us. His dad owns a Hotel, 2 (first class theaters) and a gold shop! So, we had the luxury of accommodation. Pavan was really wonderful and gracious enough to have the patience to show us around and tolerate us for 5 days! Hats of to him and his wonderfully kind family.

Day 1 :

We spent most of day 1 visiting Pavan's empire to be. His theaters, home, met his parents etc. It took most of day and was a light way to spend the day after the 21 hours train journey in HATIA express. We signed up the day by going to the vizag "main beach" where we gorged on some eatries and chats which were available on the beach side shops.

Day 2 :

We were off to Yarada beach. Yarada beach gets its name from the Yarada village which neighbours it. We went through the village as well, which didn't really have anything special about it to comment on, we went there unintentional taking a worng route :). After retracing our drive we arrived at yarada beach. We took some pics, did some rock climbing, ate corn, spent some time getting out feet wet and even spent some time sleeping on the green garden which was maintained by the beach authority. All the tourist places in vizag are surprising well maintained taking into consideration the number of the tourist who come and in comparison to our bangalore tourist places. After having chicken birayani( Which wasn't that good! I suggest if you are going there, you should try and carry a picnic basket! ) at yarada beach.
Our next destination was the Light house.

I can definitely say that this was the highlight of the day. It is simple something a tourist should not miss. The aerial view of vizag city and the light blue ocean is simply breathe taking!

These two events took up most of the day, so we ritired to one of pavan's theatre and watched the movie called " Nachavuley " :)

Day 3 :

We had a lazy start, none of us was feeling well and the 3 of us had stomach upset which was probably caused by the biryani we ate in yarada beach :). Anyways, we had the whole of eveing to kill so we were off exploring again. This time we went to the other side of vizag to the rope bridge!

The rope bridge leads to Kiliashgiri, which is again a high spot.

Travelers note : I suggest touring this spot to be kept sometime in the evening. The light house in the morning light and Kiliashgiri for the sunset. The whole of vizag lights up in the night. It appears as though you are looking down on a valley of shimmering diamonds and gold(effect caused by street light of course! ). Unforgettable sight.

Day 4 : Araku

We booked APSRTC tickets to take us to Araku. Its priced at a modest 600 bucks per adult and this includes satisfactory : breakfast, lunch, snacks, and the occasional cofee. Its value for money trip no doubt.

We took the rail cum road package.. where we travel by train while going to Aruku. The train passes through 52 tunnels and its quite scenic. The return journey is by Bus.

There weren't many spots to see in aruku but we were quite entertained by the tribal dancing, bow and arrow shooting in which Anush proved that he has tribal warrior skills. he even managed to get a bulls eye! :) We went to a park, museum, tea estates and they even took us to the highest spot in the eastern ghats which is called the "Ghalli conda".

Day 5:

We didn't do much on day 4. Our train "Prashanthi Express" was due at 12 o clock.. So we got up late messed around in our room watched amazing show on tele, Animal planet! lol :) We went out to get something from the bakery for the journey back home and well, here i am. :) Back in Crazy Hectic Bangalore.

I must say vizag is very peaceful and has much much better infrastructure than Bangalore or any other metro that i have seen. I think saying its better than Goa would be pushing it but only in terms of number of girls. vizag i think does have better tourists spots than Goa which only hosts beaches and babes. lol. Its definitely a relaxation heaven. Quite, peaceful and soo many fun things to do! :) The hotel traffic is reasonable as well, a star hotel like the one we had the luxury to stay in( Kinnera Hotel, Dabbha garden) quoted Rs 750 per night, which included complimentary breakfast and free foot massage when ever you want.:)

Republic day..

Holidays are going great so far, quite relaxing and stress free.. We went to lalbagh flower show yesterday. About a million turned up to see 2000 odd pots of plants i guess.. Each had to pay an entrance fee of 40 bucks! So, a lot of money was collected. I did expect crowd but not a mob! We took pictures where ever we could and decided to see the plants in the photos once we got back home.. Lots of pushing, tugging! There was food all around and hence by the end of the day the whole park was littered completely, with corn sticks, grounds and even occasional slippers which must have given its owner a slip! :)

I have never been this job less for quite a while now and this might be coz of two reasons! One is the fact that i have exceeded my internet download limit, henceforth i cant use internet, secondly coz there ... well i guess thats about it.. I cant think of a second reason.. i thought i had a second reason.. but not really no... Its just that internets down for the past 3 days.. I will be getting unlimited broadband by tommorow. Hurray!!! :) Downloads here i come!! :)

I am listening to loads of audio books again, currently listening to 20000 leagues under the sea.. Which has been quite interesting and thrilling soo far. :) Well.. will post more stuff in a while.. gtg now.. tara!

3rd sem exam finally over!

After much frustration and painful preparation, VTU 3rd sem exams are finally over! I have 20 days of holidays which i hope, will seem as soon as possible. I have no intention to start 4th sem in a hurry. Anush, Neeraj and i went out to bowling yesterday at Chruch street Ameoba. Which was was fun. We hope to do it again, sometime later in the next month or so. I have couple of thins lined up for these holidays like Guitar class with dheeraj, few more application development which are running on my sites, maybe investigate more about GMAT as well. Well, i suppose these should comfortably see me through till the end of my remaining 3rd sem holidays. I will be getting my hands on an Android phone pretty soon, as my dads making another trip to UK. I am also planning a trip to Vijag if Anush is ready to come along. Lets see how that plays along? New Adventures features

Very little time to give a detailed description. Here are some of the new things i have done during the holidays so far..

Yep! Its back! And this time, its here to stay! I have owed to take this far! This is something i really like and its development is on full throttle.

New and exciting concept which provides exclusive classifieds for VTU students in Karnataka. Students now can trade things from Book, electronic gadgets, search for Paying guest rooms and many more things.. So, been quite busy testing and meddling with all this... been frusturating at times... But hey patience is virtue.

2009 sets in.

I had my Unix exam on Jan 1st so, no new year celebrations unfortunately. Exams went alright i suppose, some were quite bad and others were alright. Eagerly waiting for the results.

Yesterday, we had a family outing to Innovative Film city In Bidadi. Though the name is very deceiving. Its really got nothing much to do with Film production, there were very few mock sets and the majority of the campus was used for Fun, games and activities. Since it was saturday there was a large turnout. I definitely needed to switch off for a while and have some fun and this happened to be perfect. We started off the day by playing mini Golf which i really enjoyed. Then i did Go Karting, Roller Skating, we saw a 4D under water adventure movie which was quite an experience. There is even a Ripley's Believe or Not Vault! And to top things off.. There was a beach party which was very much fun! We chilled out on the fake beach for a while on those extended chairs that you see in movies where bikini clad women sleep and get tanned! lol... So, basically a super fun packed day! I would definate suggest as a holiday or picnic destination! Its little cheaper than resorts and more fun as well. Its got something for everybody.

hhmm, Well i had sometime to fix up my college information feature on webcampuz.com.

There is still more work that needs to be done. The work remaining is basically the hard data entry work that i keep putting off till later :). I have a very good feeling about this one. I have made sure all the colleges are extensive covered. So that once a user comes to the site, he should be able to get a very clear mental picture of where the college is and what are its good and bad points.

Well, i have watched quite a lot of movies so far. Slumdog millionaire, Eagle Eye, Wild child, Taken, Mamma mia, Ghajani, Rab ne.., well many more.. and surprisingly they were ALL good!! I really liked Slumdog Millionaire and its currently the best movie i have seen in 2009. lol.. Lets see when and to which movie it will lose its position to.

Exams are about get underway, starting from Dec 19th. We have exams even on Jan 1st. Luckily, one of the exam which was supposed to be held on Dec 27th has been postponed to Jan 19th which is huge sigh of relief. Since i won't be going any where it gives me all the time in the world to prepare for the exam and have fun completing some new tasks. I have lot planned for the holidays, plenty of adventures technological developments lol.. I will be programming my own Android applications. I know i have been saying this for quite some time now, but i feel i am ready to take up the challenge. I definitely need to get going with Android. You know, get a head start. Anyways, I think i am having Googlephobia. Never heard of it!? Well, its something i just made up. Its the fact Google is everywhere, and you feel you are being traced frightens me. Its riduculus but its something people will experience in the coming years when google totally mopolizes the internet and mobile industry.

My preparations so far have been satisfatory. I have no specific target to get from the exams but i do not wish to screw them up. Hopefully i won't. Watching a lot of movies of late, sleeping and eating more! :) I have taken a different approach towards the work and college life, not straining myself too much in either. Earlier i used to slog it out, working into late nights infront of comp and thats reduced quite a bit now! So i am basically taken more breaks to re collect my thoughts and planing out how to do things offline! :).

Well, Cousins will be home today. Hopeful i can get some studying donw before they get here. Alright then, will be posting more about Android when i start it on Jan 2.

Oh ya, i need to catalog this : what do you get when you combine web + mobile = iwebble. Think about it! :) I am relaunching iwebble with a new concept which i haven't figured out yet, but one thing is more certain it will have the web and mobile in it.

United spirit of India

Today something historial has taken place. One week from the mumbai blast, citizens from across all the major metros go out on a mass gathering! Citizens march in purpose, hand in hand, like minded and seek change. Change is very interesting one, for once the Indians get it right. The fingers are pointed at the right people. The political system is taking the heat which it should have many many years ago. The old saggy balled politicans will have to walk the ramp and make way to young, energic and itelectually superior LEADERS.

We will not vote CRIMINALS, Mafia, and other un worthy heridetary losers. India seeks a new begining. The United Spirit of India shouts out for a true Heroes!!

New season of terror episodes’ continue.

This is day 2 after 10 “Professional Terrorist” took over Mumbai elite hotels and Taj and the oberoi Trident. Not to mention one hospital. This type of terrorist attack of a different kind! Which India hasn’t been prepared to handle as it clearly proved for the past 2 days. The terrorist operation started on Tuesday night around about 10 : 30 when 10 young terrorist strolled their way into the city sprinkle bullets at who ever came in their way! They hijacked a police vehicle and entered the 5 star hotels which are big landmarks of Mumbai. The current death toll is said to be about 125 dead and over 300 wounded. Mumbai lost quite a few officials as well. Hemant Karkare, Ashok kamte and Vijay Salaskar. Well, no body has pointed this out yet but I believe Hemant Karkare was very brave or stupid to go into the scene of crime un protected! He strolled into the place with just a helmet on his head. Like as if he is being given a tour of Shobha apartments. Anyways, its quite sad that soo many innocent people had to die..

TAJ hotel on fire during the SCG operations

The police force definitely proved that they weren’t trained to handle such situations. They took ages to figure out how to get the hostages out safely from the hospital onto at vehicle!! The SCG too did ridiculous things like bombing the rooms in TAJ hotel! The NEWS channels were covering all of it continuously for the past 36 hours. From time to time they showed clips of TAJ rooms on fire… here I was thinking that it might be the work of terrorist but in fact the SCG “Special forces” seem to have caused all that fire and hangama! 100 commandos vs. 3 terrorist who looked like school pass outs! Huh!! I guess I am frustrated by all the things I have been watching on tele. The TV journalists are having a field day no doubt. The fact that Indian police thinks it’s a good idea to take down one hostage situation at a time seems to go well with the media since they have more things to report over a longer period. But frankly I am sick of all of it. This should not this long!!!

They are not sure about who is responsible for these attacks, whether it is the Decan mujjahedin or the Alqueda. The commandos have just now gave an address to the press. It seems that they weren’t aware of the layout of the hotel! That’s why the long hours of operation. My question is a what were they doing without acquiring the hotel blueprints before going in? Its seems that they went it there with out any plan! Anyways, all the shooting and violence has come to an end! Terrorist in Taj and oberoi have been shot dead. They are still not clear about who is responsible for the attacks. Anyways, it over let me not talk about it for awhile! My head is filled with frustration and mixed feeling about the whole event.

My exams are about to start on Dec 19th!! And my Lab externals are on Jan 1st. Will tell you how that goes! See ya later then! Bye :)

Android Full throtle! iwebble is scheduled for re launch

Android applications project is in full swing. Things are finally taking shape. Currently Anush has taken charge of the first project. The dead line for his project manager term will last 1.5 month till Jan 12th. The whole project has been initiated well and our primary objective is to create simple and small applications that can be downloaded by Android costumers free of charge. Thats where iwebble.com comes in. Of late iwebble.com has been lost in transistion. But this might help it get into light again. Though the crowd will be small and will trickling in. It will serve the purpose of showcasing our work. Anush and Bharat seem to be quite serious about it, but not very sure how long this might last from past history i have seen them drop out of many projects... Lets see how this goes.

Exams are getting really close and my mood has yet seen transistion yet! Will have to put on my mind into study soon or else will be defaulting on my plans which is not an option. Well, DELL laptop is performing quite brilliantly!! I really love it. My gym sessions are more regular now.. I have lost a lot of weight... which isn't a good thing since i didn't have too much weight to start with. I am doing my best to load up on things.. and trying to stuff the fat into right places!!! if you know what i mean! :) Bootiliously Avinash will be back soon! lol... sounds odd! But if thats what girls what, thats what they will get! lol..

We have also booked tickets to Goa. Its finally happening. We are going to Goa in Season!! Hope it is as awesome as it is hyped up to be! :) Well, gtg now! Need to get some shut eye! See you later then.. Bye bye.

Third internals of Third sem finally comes to an end!

Today was our end of third internals of third semester. I feel my internal marks are little higher than what they were sem! I have a tough schedule ahead, EC lab internals is on 26 of this month and so is DS lab internals. After that on 1st December DS lab externals and on 8th EC lab externals! These are extremely tricky times since one small mistake can really take a big bite out of my total percent which isn't very impressive as such and it can cost you dearily. Anyways, there is ray of hope and inspiration though.. We are planning a trip to Goa for Jan 2nd. It will be a 5 days trip and that i guess is what will be pumoing my blood for the coming month! Coz it is no doubt going to be hell.. 3 of my sites are doing quite well, in terms of traffic i do not mean in terms of monetisation! :) www.vtualerts.com , www.webcampuz.com and www.prajarajyamparty.co.cc . I am still trying to maintain these site and manage my studies! So far, its been working out. :)

DELL has come up with a defect. The DELL media direct is not loading without windows being loaded. Actually DELL media direct is a new software which runs without loading the entire windows hence it loads in just a fraction of time that it takes to load vista completely. I have asked the DELL support and they have asked me to reinstall. I am again having to write stuff on to DVD and create back ups which is a head ache! Its writing 8 GB of " How i met your mother " seasons thats why i am here blogging! Serisously not able to find much time to catalog stuff here!! Damn Indian education system! Well, seems like its done! 5 more seconds! Bye!

Exams turning the corner!

Well, rumors are flying around regarding the final sem exam time table! but one thing is for sure. The exams will begin sometime in late December and will continue will mid Jan. Had quite a bit of fun over the weekend. Relaxed a little... Went out for a movie " Quantum of Solace ". It is definitely not a bond movie. There is nothing a James Bond movie would have, in that movie. It just seemed like an expensive imitation of The Bourne trilogy. Very disappointed with the plot and actress as well. Anyways, today too was a very lazy day! Just me and my room. Its been a really long time, since i have locked my self in my room with some assignments to do. Have lots to write for my data structures lab record. I have DS lab internals on Thrusday! Have to prepare for that and finish of the analog experiments tommorow in the ADE lab tommorow. 3rd sem thankfully is coming to an eventfull end.

Got into a fight with the Newsletter team ( Seniors basically )! Nasty bunch of people really. So, took my self off the team. They were simply adding to my stress and whiling away time. Anyways, don't want to talk about it now. Will give an ellobborate explanation later. The class atmosphere has certainly changed a lot! Its become a lot more interactive... girls talking to guys and vice versa. Co-operating in completing records sharing question papers and what not! :) Its a pleasent atmosphere now i believe. Well, my GYM sessions are back and going pretty well.. I am in second chart this week ( Each chart signifies the level basically ) Feel lot better, but back my tummy growth! :) Webcampuz.com has crossed 1 lakh but has fallen way down in traffic ranking. Hope this is short term and students will be utilizing the features soon!! Alright thats it for now i suppose.. Signing off and going to sleep tata!

Things are going way outta hand! Been extremely busy for the past week. Though i have had holidays i had lots of work to do, setting up webcampuz.com for this years turnout. Well, i feel it is finally ready. EAMCET students have already started practicing on it! Google means to do be showing my site above all. Expecting at least 3lakh page views in the coming 3 months. Hope i can hit the target. I also have figure out a way to squeeze in a few extra seconds of load time. It is little slow right now. I think the fastes website that i have seen which is not only functional but has good looks has to be bookmyshow.com! After that started on another project which is 80 percent complete.. The last 20 percent is proving trembously challenging. This is what i am talking about by the way www.trade.vtualerts.com . Its basically a tool which i feel would be really useful for the students. Lets see how that works out. My web ventures are slowing be pushed to make way to high priority directives like VTU internals and etc. For the coming 2 months, it will be hell! Too much to cover, donno where to start and what to cover. Anyways..

Currently thought life's great! I am socializing, participating in variety of activities it almost feels like St Pauls and Jain college again. But i am aware that this fun will be short term since in another 2 weeks we have third internals coming up!! ARRGH! Test on top on test for what????

I have become a huge fan of "How i met your mother" Soap. Its quite addictive and since i am the perfect audience for the show it seems even more awesome! I have watched all the 3 seasons almost 4 times already! :) All my profic pics now flanut the innocent face of TED MOSBY or the cheeky face of BRANY STINSON! :) The pic on top is my destop background!!! ADICTED!!! lol

Hmmm, Oh yes.. I have finally got my laptop! Its really really awesome! I love it! If you have forgotten. I had booked DELL Studio 15 ( Rudy Red ) couple of weeks a ago. It took them 15 days for delivery. It cost me 50,000 rupees but totally worth it. The features are awesome and everything about is engineered to perfection. Its got a contour design on the palm rest which is something which didn't appeal too much to me! But hey! It came free.. so no complains. :)

I have started micro planning, something which i used to do long ago!!! The last time i did this was during my PUC exams i think. lol.. So i am hoping this means i am back in business and ready to steal marks again! lol... It will be challenge, since i have no clue about Electronics. My nightmare subject.!

The news letter is still hanging by a think thread. It seems that we are the only branch which does not have their Deptarment sponsoring the newsletter. Which i feel is ver stupid!!! :( Anyways.. lets see how that goes.

In my previous post i think i have mentioned about by the intranet project thing... The results are out and i got selected! Hurray. The project has a deadline, which i like! ( Not like many of the project which i handle! They just keep growing and goin on for forever! )

Sorry for temporary blackout! Been a long time since my last post. Cant complain, been extremely busy. I have completely lost my priority schedule, since i got myself into too many things... My mom always say " Don't put your feet into two boats ! " I see a few raised eye brows there..but it is just a crude translation.. she says it in Telugu and it makes sense to me now... :) I feel like lot of people are pulling and tugging at my shirt.. I am at a verge of losing myself! lol :).. We am working as an intern for thestorez.com which is very intellectually challenging and then, got couple of my own pet projects which need constant attention and then we have the newsletter team who are great bunch of people but do lots of talking and little work and then the Almighty and boring VTU syllabus. I am just hoping this stress is temporary and it will fix itself in time. I have internals from Wednesday maybe after that things will calm down a little. Wait, no that might not happen. Just recieved an SMS from a pal - THE SCHEDULE FOR THE 3TH SEM FINAL EXAMS!! urgg! Guess what? We have exams on the Christmas day and New year day as well. What kind of sadism is this? Aren't we human! Actually doing this to a teen should be a greater sin! Teenage New year parties are supposed to be very memorable and Awesome but now i am going to remember my 2009 new year to be just another stupid day when i was busy mugging up crap which i will never again use in my life! Chuck it! I don't to think of all these things anymore..

My Dell laptop is due to deliver on 28 of this month. Cant wait to get my hands on that machine! It will be like getting a new wand, something like the D-stick ( People who have read Harry Potter!) Will understand what i mean! If you haven't read potter, go punch sand! You lazy bum! )

Oh where was i! huh yes... I was turning a few pages! Not really concentrating and absorbing all of it.. Thought will just vent out my thoughts on the blogger. It really does help. I am feeling a lot better.

Oh totally forgot! Parents not at home.. so got the whole place to myself! ;) They have gone to attend a marriage in Hyderabad. So, eating only junk food and do things the way i like it.. Its quite nice, but the food is not decent! Damn i suck at coking. I am only capable of making omelets and Maggie! Sad i know.. but hey got a microwave so that's very helpful. Its like god sent gift to bachelors i suppose. Makes food seem fresh in a minute.

Well if you are wondering who this is.... my name is apoorva, one of avinash’s friend and classmate and now one of the co-authors for this blog. So that must explain a lot of things!!haha... So when he asked me if I would like to write in his blog, I thought I’ll give it a try. Presently there are so many things running on my mind,i really don't where to start. I thought I’ll write a few of my experiences in college.

I still remember the first few days of our engineering college, new place, and new faces, completely lost. i was really scared about getting ragged, but luckily nothing of that sort happened. I managed to make a few good friends in the first few days of college.But i found it really difficult to adjust with them. My way of thinking used to never match their's, it always created differences between us. I used to get so irritated and wished my old friends were there. But gradually you learn to accept the fact and learn to adjust. Thats life!!

A lot of things have changed since our first year. Frankly speaking I never knew that a guy called avinash existed in our class.College was so weird then. None of us spoke to each other. I felt like robots sitting in class. everybody seemed to have a prejudiced opinion about each other. I guess everything changed after we were introduced to manuel sir, our professor for data structures(a subject for c programming) in 3rd sem. He is the most amazing person I have ever met in my entire life; fun loving, very friendly and of course not to forget has a very good sense of humor. Now we have become more comfortable with each other.Atleast we are on talking terms.

Our trip was the most memorable day. I think traveling was the best part of it. Since we girls were in the front , we actually missed the sight of the “topless guys” . che!!! ;)

The actual shocker came when the girls started dancing in the bus. I know it doesn’t sound extraordinary but imagine the girls who never speak in class and who never make their presence felt in class, dance in the bus!! Man..I was definitely shocked. However I’m sure the guys had a treat for their eyes. They never get to see these stuff everyday. Do they?? no offense, but I think the girls in our class are the most decent .

On the whole, we all had a blast!!

I have also been selected for the newsletter team. Yippee!! I feel privileged to be chosen among 120 students .But I still don’t know on what criterion they chose me. They had conducted a vocabulary test in which I’m sure I didn’t fare well. What the heck…who cares!!;)

Before concluding, I just wanted to mention about a novel : the kite runner. Reading books is one of my hobbies. If you haven’t read this one, I highly recommend you do. I loved it!!

Let me not write more and end it here. I want to thank avinash for letting me write in his blog. I am not very acquainted with writing such stuff, but have tried my best.

Good things happening! October Rocks on!

There have been couple of highlights that i would like to catalog in this blog. So here we go...

1. I have been selected for my college newsletter team! Yeaahh, Which is great honor considering the criterion in which the selection was made. They had held a vocabulary test for 120 students and i got the highest score! Wicked isn't it? Pleasantly surprised by the result but quick to recognize an opportunity and am totally committed to whatever job is given to me.

2. I have fared well in my internals exams as well, which is even bigger surprise. This is big relief since it kinda gives me a good feeling going into my second and third internals.

3. We recently had a college trip to white waters where the whole class got into water and had a big splash! The whole trip was thoroughly enjoyable. For me though the highlight of the day was the journey back home. We travelled in bus and few guys kinda got high coz of drinks and stuff! So all the guys ended up topless and dancing to music inventing all kinds of interesting and bizarre steps.

4. I am very close to ordering a DELL studio 15 or an XPS m1330. Called the Dell helpline today but apparently the sales force is on leave during the weekends. Bit weird but i guess they too crave a weekend at home. So, the DELL laptop will be booked on Monday. You might not believe this, today evening i went a DELL store! Yes you heard me right. Its the first DELL store in India and it is in bangalore Jayanagar 4th block. The price is very much different than what it is online, which is expected due to VAT and other retail commission added to it. It was good find because it gives you touch feel of the laptop which the photos online do not! This is just a personnel opinion but i feel DELL photography is very deceiving... :)

hhmm, that's it for now. Kinda getting late. Having loads of holidays next week so will probably post more during that time! Bye for now!

Lost my mobile phone! boo hoo :(

My pocket seems to a lot lighter now.. This is always a bad statement, how ever you want to take it. Well i lost my cell phone. I didn't lose it actually, It dropped from my track pant while i was riding on DIO( Some loser must have probably pocketed it!! ). It happened for like umpteenth time( The cell phone falling off, while i am driving)! I always drop it when i am wearing my tracks, but it still used to work great. I had the phone ( Sony Ericson K700i ) For almost 3 years now!! Lost all my contacts and everything else that was on it! :( The thing, it will not be useful to anyone else apart from me coz my dad bought it from UK and the charger plug is not available here in india since the model manufacturing was stopped 2 years ago. It was a major flop in India. What i can i say, most people here don't have good taste! lol.. Anyways, getting back to the point. Even if some loser takes it off the road, it will not serve him. Its like a magical Harry potter wand. You can just pick it up from the street and expect it to work for you!! There are various other essential stuff that is required! lol... Anyways, i got a duplicate Sim yesterday. So my number hasn't changed. I am using my mom's Motorola V500, which is a 5 year old cell... :) I think the Motorola is probably is a better condition than my Sony Ericson, since it has been dropped from a vehicle which is going 60 kmph! Mann, it feels sad losing that phone. It was like my companion. I will never forget it.. :) I know i getting a bit too emotional for using a phone! but what can i say.. it really meant a lot to me.

Anyways, whats done is done. I guess this presents me with an opportunity to buy an android phone when it releases :). Anxiously waiting for the first android phone to come out.

My internals are going on right now, Haven't really fared too well in them but i guess i will get the marks i deserve. I probably will have to put a lot more effort this year to scrap decent marks since i hear the evaluation will be quite mental... Actually it doesn't feel like i am doing anything regarding engineering! It feels like i am 10th again. Quite boring syllabus and on top of that, the question paper is monotonous and they expect us to vomit what ever is in the PRESCRIBED text book. huh!!! Testing memory! that's all, no test for creativity, logical analysis...huh..

I think i am giving out a wrong impression of me being a cribber! Which i am certainly not. I just like to point out a few things which i think are just totally wrong!

Well on a lighter note. My delivermylist.com project has seen a new light at the end of the tunnel. I will be working my !##@ on it after these internals... Will post more about the project development when they happen. :)

Engineers day celebration!

I am quite confident not many people know that today is " Engineers day ". I didn't know about it either until i reached college and found out that we are celebrating it! lol Our class rep's collected 15 rupees from everyone and the show was on!!! The party also had a felicitation of the senior most lecturer of our computer science department. After small un prepared speeches and odd silences which was broken time to time from organizers trying to open a bottle of cola or packets of chips! the really fun began. We locked the doors and had loud music and some students were forcefully paired to dance! haha! Well i will try to get some pictures and videos on the party. The drinks and food was quite less but who cared it was finger linking good and they music was always there to energies us! Today is definitely a memorable day... New friends and relations made, fantastic enthusiasm from many students and teachers alike. We are finally starting to feel united like one big family. :)

Well, okay now i need to catalog something techky. So if you have no stomach for this sought of thing, i suggest you stop reading this forth coming paragraph.
I had partly installed windows vista on to Kushals laptop, unfortunately it recognised it as invalid product key. I wasn't too down by that since it worked great for atleast 90 days after that it simply shuts down many of the vista features until it is activated properly.
Anyways, after installing it i tried to install Linux suse into it. Unfortunately before doing the linux installation, i hadn't partitioned the drives. Big mistake, the linux installation process tried its own partitioning method but failed. It corrupted the whole thing. Then i tried to install and this time it prompted me to completely format the whole thing, which i did since vista too was not working. So it formatted and installed itself wonderfully! Sesu linux on my first impression was better than XP any day, but not better vista of course. So i tried the vista installation again. Only to find out that it cannot be done on it since the partition format is FAT32 and not NTFS. So, i had to format it again and try the vista installation. It failed saying it could not find the proper volume or something of that sought! I am hoping i will be able to load XP and partition the drives properly. I will be taking it up after my first internals for which i haven't yet started my preparation.

Well Alright, will get back. Very important leason learnt. I will be extra carefyl when i work with installaling OS on my new laptop which i will hopefully be getting by early next month. My eyes on currently on DELL Inspiron 1535, Studio 15 or if i am lucky maybe XPS m1535.

Oh ya recieved my second google check today!! :)

Dayananda Sagar 2008 Graduation day function

Been down with fever, since yesterday so couldn't come online. Anyways, Satuday was specular. We ( Four us - Kushal, Bharat, Anush and me) volunteered for being a part of the graduation day celebration. We were all posted to lead the graduation day march, which was quite special. I was asked to lead the march for BBM Students. 90 percent of students turned up for BBM were girls! Which was brilliant!! lol... The whole function was very long but very eventfull. The graduates, didn't bother much for the instructions, since they had nothing to be scared about and they started lottering every where even during the VTU vice chancellor speech!! :) I wish i could post some images here, but i am not able to find the orkut comunity which contains all the graduation day pictures :( Will try again and post them in case i hit apon them sometime later today.

The fireworks were the highlight of the day for me. They were well ochestrated and had plenty of variety. :) There even dance and free dinner!! The function was which must not be missed for sure. I will probably go for the next graduation day as well. :)

We got a chance to miggle with few seniors and teachers as well which was a pleasure. We talked and shared our experiences.

Lots of students from my class turned up so it was even better! :) Me still not feeling 100 percent. Better get some rest. See you later. I will find those pictures. :) Bye bye

Hamster has passed away! :(

Today a tragic event occurred. My brothers pet hamster died, of some illness probably cancer. It seems that cancer is the most popular killer when it comes to hamsters. In a way, it comes as a sigh of relief, it looked in pain for quite a few days now, and it was stinking quite bad as well! Nobody in my family touched it apart from my bro, who himself got bitten once or twice and took 7 injections for it! We simply feed it and left it in its cage and let it out to roam around the house during the night times, but it was never really a fun thing to have. We were all afraid of being bitten and getting 7 injections, it stinks a lot as well which was a huge turn off. It does look cute and cuddly but hey what can you do. We did have our memorable moments, so i thought i will catalog this event as a sign of gratitude for those special moments.

Moving on.. i would want to end this post on a lighter note. hhmm, we celebrated teachers day today in our college, just our computer science department. It went quite well, small party as it was. Tomorrow, might be even more eventful, since i will be attending the graduation day ceremony. I am supposed to hold a flag and lead the graduation march for EEE students. It will certainly be a learning experience, since i have never taken part in a graduation ceremony before. :) Will post how it goes tommorow.

I am thinking of changing the theme and look of http://www.webcampuz.com . It seems a little too far fetched for the indian market. The themes isn't really scalable and apears monotonous. My marketting plans have come to a full stop because of the complexities involved in the theme. So on the verge of dumping it. I need to get some user responce though, before i start off on my next theme. Lots of leasons learnt, though so the work hasn't really gone to waist or anything.

BIG TV - BIG hype, same TV!! :(

Dad bought BIG TV set top box 4 days ago. According to the terms and conditions they guaranteed installation with in 48 hours, it became one of the promises that they failed to to keep. So, after a fiery chat with the BPO operator we finally managed to get the installation done today.

Firstly, the user interface seems to be very tricky and ugly to be frank. I haven't yet mastered the use of the multifunctional remote. I haven't been able to set up the favorite channel list. I am talking about, if you select a colour it shifts to the fav channels! The quality isn't really any diffirent than what my cable guy was offering, i am already starting to miss the cable TV as he puts all kinds of new movies on the cable channel, though it might be a pirated copy! :)

The remote too looks bulky and doesn't offer sharp change, when you press a button it jumps in all directions. There this stupid BIG TV icon on every channel, which is highly irritating.

I guess we will be trying it for a while until the Airtels IP TV comes and then probably shift to that.

Well, this are running quite fast. My lifes seems to be going at 1000 minutes per second! haha. Thats the best way i put it. The http://www.thestorez.com website has been officially launched.

I am an official intern at thestorez.com and i am really liking working with other professionals. Its an amazing experience to have, something i will definately treasure. I haven't many things a first year engg kid in India can not even think or dream about and i am glad to get this oppurtunity. I have changed my principles slightly.

These words have a lot of meaning to me, which some may fail to understand. :) Well, gtg tom we have pre placement activities where 7th semester students will be filling us in on there interview experience.

The whole week has been a buzz of activity. Yesterday we had a seminar on software engineering. Couple of guys with poor english but strong technical knowledge delivered their speech. Their speech weren't something 3rd sem student found easy to relate too, the slide shows too were just static and poorly presented. Nonetheless, me being very optimistic and everything! found it quite a different experience. There were few points which i could pick up and ponder apon for a while. Nothing new has happened in regard to my web ventures. Few changes here and there but nothing important to be cataloged about. VTU websites have started cropping up everywhere. I think i still hold a lead, with killer applications and powerful services. I have few more marketting ideas which i hope to put into action ASAP. They are little expensive but they definately beat Adwords services any day! :) Adwords is way too expensive.

Oh before i forget, today was our first pre placement activity classes. We wrote a Math IQ quiz. I didn't do too good, but satisfied with the effort. :) ( Math seriously ain't something thats easy for me :( ) I am very envous of people, who are good with numbers. I think i should do something about it... hhmm.. Well if you know of any ideas of improving basic arthematic please do tell me! :)

Okay, this is kind of a traditional thing i do.. Keep posting my routines from time to time, when ever they change basically.

Well morning it all starts off at 6 when my alarm rings, I get all worked up unable to decide whether to switch it off or put it in snooze mode! lol.. So i finally yank my self off the bed at 6 30 or so. Get the newspaper and hide myself in the bathroom. After that, its just roaming about the house grabbing my stuff which are distributed everywhere and get ready by 8 15. College ain't too far from my home. Just 15 min drive!! :)

The classes go on till 5... i hangout with my pals for a while and be back home back 6.

Next thing is to raid the fridge! Eat whatever seems like junk and might do harm to my parents if they eat it! ( You know all kinds of sugary stuff!! :) )

Then i come online and do some web development projects, which are on going! There is soo much work but i love the work and there s good pay involved as well, which helps i suppose.

Then at 9 i click the hibernate button, go downstairs and have my dinner and watch a movie. 9 to 10 30 is my TV time. So i usually watch the prime time movie coming on HBO or star movies! :) I would have probably seen about 1 lakh Hollywood movies! :) Well, maybe not the exact number but somewhere in that range.

After that i chat for a while, SMSing few pals who might be slogging it out over 1.5 kg books!
then i turn off and fall asleep next to the window.. few nights, i even get to see the moon.. which is quite amazing.

hhmm sounds quite jammed pack day :) Time is money mate :) Gtg now. Bye bye

Hectic classes and work! 2nd sem results not too bad! lol

Got my 2nd sem results the day before. I got the marks i deserved, no doubt. I have zero percent regrets at the moment about how the whole exams and year went on. I got 76 percent. So my average percentage for the first year is 78 i think. The 3rd sem syllabus and books seem to be quite bulky :( Electronics already seems like Greek and some parts of maths are starting to appear french :) Busy with quite a bit of work. Have loads of things to catalog, yet i do not have the luxury since i am currently doing quite a lot of multi tasking, work which is lift for 4 people i can say! :) Went to Hampi over the long weekend. Its was pretty good holiday i suppose. The heritage sites are must see for those who are doing engineering, since they are no short of being engineering marverls. Cant type anymore, got to go out!! Catch you later. Oh ya, i don't like the new blogger panel!! I think its lame.. and not cool looking as it used to be :( Ok bye now.

First day of 3rd sem :)

So, i am in 2nd year of engineering already. After 142 posts and many interesting events, i have finally landed in 2nd year. Life seems seems to be going at million minutes a sec! The teachers seem much more experienced than previous teachers which is pleasant surprise. We had our orientation class in the morning, where Professor Tajuddin gave us his take on all the rules and ethics of college code and other regulations. He is our class teacher for this year as well. All students have a liking towards him. He isn't strict, does his job well and is 12 years experienced in handling engineering classes. So its good to have his guidance from the start. According to what i could make out from hours of listening today in the class (sitting on the front bench again!! ) is the fact that - this year is gonna get really hectic. I might have to sacrifice my Internet time. I am really glad now that i have shifted all my work on to a CMS which allows me to work on my sites from absolutely anywhere! I have one dreaded thing though. This year we have a further extension of the Basic electronics classes which we had in first year. I managed to scrape passing marks in that exam, i am very intimidated by this " Extreme basic electronics" now! Hopefully i will do a better job so facing the exam this semister. This Sem end date is on November 18! but the portions seem like they need atleast a complete year to finish with satisfaction and confidence of performing well in the exams. So, i guess i may have to start little early. I did enjoy the last class which was about data Structures. The teacher who is talking the subject is quite unique and energetic in his style of teaching! I really like data structures. Its awesome subject, its got all the concepts which can be utilised in DB management and maybe help improve performance of some of my sites. :) Bharat has shifted to Kushal's place so we are all together finally!!! Hurray... Kushal ain't here in bangalore yet, though. It seems that his grand dad is down with some illness so, he will be starting off late and reaching latter this week. I am way too tired! Will report more stuff tom bye bye.

Book Review : The Appeal by John Grisham

This book is for those people who can stomach American Judicial system and other legislative laws. The book is quite depressing, i don't mean in a bad way. I mean, 400 odd pages, in almost 300 pages you feel quite sympathetic and miserable.

It basically involves this huge 41 million dollar verdict which goes in favour of the plaintiffs. The plaintiffs client suffers a tremendous loss of loosing her husband and child due to indirect poisoning caused by Krane industries dumping , the toxic byproducts which some how gets into the drinking water of every house hold in Boremmor ( Some town like that ) and causes cancer to people who drink it!
So the story goes on about the suffering of the tons of people who drink the wretched water and fall ill and die. The town gets a huge boast in moral when the verdit goes against the krane industries which is run by a man called Mr Treadue ( Or something of that sort - i am terrible and remembering names, i think i will name my son Ron or Ram or something small hehe )
Well, he isn't too happy about the verdict and then the story begins to get very interesting and thrilling. John Grishams plot is simply brilliant and at the end he signs of really well. None of that half boilded story where the ending is to be decided by the reader. The ending is quite tense. The whole book is worth reading for the last two chapters! Trust me. I will give it 3.5 Starss.
It looses 1.5 for the middle chapters in the campaign section, it was bit off a drag, few deatils skipped off as well! Those who have read it might understand what i am saying. Those who haven't well, i cant tell you about the whole story and get caught for leaking the story! lol :) Alright got a new book today. Can you guess what it is? A autobiography of Bill Gates - The road Ahead. :) Well, be writing my take on the book once its done. Bye for now!

Past two days, i had to endure more power cuts and the weather outside was gloomy as well. It kept drizzling from time to time! Well, they call it load sheding, donno why coz i was doing the exact opposite. Well, let me put it this way - Thrilling novel and packet of chips are dangerous combination. Both get over before you reliase and then you regret it finished soo quickly. been reading the novel yesterday and had snacks all around me. Both ever completely exausted by the time power came on. I was gaining load during the load sheding hours.. :( My take on the novel "The Appeal" will be posted soon. Got some interesting news. Got in touch with a few guys who are into web development in Chennai and i am currently involved in that project. Got loads of work in my hands already, but their projects sounds interesting and promises to yeild results, so i guess lending hand wouldn't be a problem. I might even get a nice letter or certificate of my involvment in the project which is always a plus i suppose. My protfolia does seem quite a buzz with soo many variety of things lol :) I hate boasting about myself! I am after an ordinary kid trying to live an xtraordinary engineering life. I might even recieve my first so called pay check for the work i do for those guys. i am not going into too many details since, i have no permission to write about it from them and things are a very early stage as of now. Okay, so another xtraordinary event is being added to the list. My name appears on Times of India, under the ciberati section ( Which showcases student blogger and their blogs ) page 4- Times City. Its a damn good concept i feel, i was able to meet many student bloggers with the help of this program, which would have been difficult otherwise.This is what it says

Yesterday was a very special day for my younger brother for he was celebrating his sweet 16th birthday... and boy did he celebrate it in style. He treated all his mates at school who in return gave him a healthy birthday beatings ( Which is some stupid tradition which involves the birthday boy being hoisted up by his limbs and then being kicked in the ass, very silly but its tradition and everybody will get their chance to be on the receiving end sometime or a later so its fair ) :) and after he came back home, we were off to Fun cinemas to catch the Dark knight.
My take on the movie :

Its definitely is the best outta of the 3 batman movies that have released. The performance from the star casts was sooo real ( One more vote for Heath Ledger for an Oscar Award )! It got all the audience hooked to the story immediately. It had loads of hi-tech gadgets, mind blowing stunts and huge bomb blasts, superb makeup, amazing cars and this time bat man has a new bat bike or whatever you want to call it, which itself was enough to win the hearts of many youngsters... :)
The movie was exceptionally long for a hollywood movie! 2.5 hours i think. The story involves the rise of a new villian called TWO FACE.. Well, i don't want to say too much in the fear off being labelled as a party pooper or movie spoilers or whatever they call such people today ( Words keep going in and out of fashion soo quickly, Woot to that! ;) lol ). So this movie is a must watch for well, just about everybody!! I will give it 4 stars. 1 star off coz i felt it was dragged bit too much in the second part :).

After the movie, it was the regular rituals at Mc Donalds. Ordering fast food and trying to eat it even faster by stuffing everything you can at once! lol.. Well cheers to you brother and hope you have an eventful and exciting 16 th year... just like i did, i think i went to Goa that year with all the students in my class! Need i say more ;) . But probably bro is far ahead of me, he already flaunts many girl friends, who keep calling up at odd times! Not a good sign you know (I am sooo jealous ) lol :) TC

6 days after bomb blasts, things are back to normal for bangaloreans. The culprits are still enjoying the freedom. No news what so ever of anybody being questioned or detained. Media is usual on top of things, but they too seem to have given up after repeatedly showing the same amateur shot bomb blast videos. Now, the attention shifts to the Olympics in china and all its worldly concerns. The Times too today reported some merry news on the front page, its usually about suicides, political slang, murders and other criminal cases which make you sick of the kind people that can commit such an act!, even increasing inflation and ever decreasing fuel and petroleum. No today was different! Life seems to getting back after a punch in the crotch!

Here is a pick of the Bomb squad, notice the skimpy Armour they are wearing! Well, is they can complain about Rakhi Sawanth showing skin, something like this should be blown outta of proportion shouldn't it? Anyways, i thought i will try to raise awareness about the lack of supplies for those men doing the on hands job of defusing a LIVE bomb!
I understand that the bomb might be of low intensity and might just chop of a few fingers! but that does mean, some bald head guy from the street can come and chip in defusing the bomb! I cant believe there are so many people even near it! This is really something the government and media should look into! Now i hear CBI themselves were involved in the Bomb blast! They have passed the blame on Pakistan and now nobody seems to question it? Why did pakistan do it? What is the proof. Why don't they tell us? We were after all the city which faced the music! Stocks fell, Schools were closed, Malls were closed! We need quick responce! I don't want this case to last the same amount of time it took to give a verdict to the criminals responsible for Indra Gandhi's murder!

Anyways, here's an update on my personal life - DML is off to a flier and i am waiting anxiously for my marketting plans to click. Hopefully one or two do! Well, gtg. We are dineing outside today. Bye

I Read - The 3 biggest mistakes of my life - by chetan bhagat yesterday. The book is great and would give it say - 3.5 stars. It looses lots of points for its anti climax which is very typical most India script writers. There are loads of Swears words!! Especially the last 2 chapters were just that! Every sentence had an F word in it! There was one more chapter in the middle somewhere which was absolute porn! lol. I think, this is why kids in India read his books. Most of the parent think ohh look is he reading something on the IIT student ( Five point someone - Chetan bhagat's first novel ) or something readin call center jobs ( One night at the call center ) but the fact is, many friends recomend it other saying - "there loads of porn and love in it! we can sooo relate to it yaar" or something similar of that sort! Well sex sells and he seems to know that quite well. The story isn't bad... Little bit of melodrama and cheesy dialogs but the stroy isn't bad at all. Infact it has loads of moral stuff in it, that you can really take away after closing that last page. It touches on major issues like startup disaters, religion and politics.... Well, i don't want to spill any beams! I would recomend it! Must read if you are a teenager! not for the same reason as i mention ealier but coz its a fun bindas book to chill out with. Takes hardly a few hours to finish, so a perfect way to spend those power cut hours! lol :) Thats what i did... power cut or no power cut i am going to make the best use of time!!!! I have just 330 days of teenage life anyways, after that i will be in my twenties! :)

Bling Bling and then Bling Bang!!

Been on the move during the weekend. Saturday was "all day outing" day. We took off from home at around 11 in the morning ( Well, my parents get up very late on Saturday mornings! So the "all day outting" day is really a half day outting!) and returned home at 10 in 11 30 in the night. We went to the inaugural function of the 7 Brand factory branch in India, it also happens to be bangalore's 2! We had to buy birthday clothes for my youger brother anyways. It was alright, brand Factory i mean.. Loads of lights and shiny shiny clothes and glass and stuff! All Bling Bling, you know what i mean! Since it was the inaugural day, they threw in some discounts which i really think mattered since the MRP was tagged very high. It cost a bomb to buy Jeans. Speaking about bombs, when we got back home, we found out that Amedhebad was hit by the same terroist group which hit Bangalore on friday. This time the colleteral damage was even more. Death toll due the bombing went up to 46 i think and many were seriously injured. All the news covered the same scenes of horrific blood and twisted metal. There have also been many bombs which were defused yesterday and the day before. I think the number of bombs that were difussed were 6 in total! Can you imagine another 6 bombs would have created more bloody scenes. On Saturday, i got a SMS from my pal saying they defused a bomb in forum mall!! disturning as this might sound, things seem to be getting back to normal soo quickly here in india. Bomb blast occurred in the afternoon in bangalore and by 6 everything was running normal!! If it ever the western countries, well i think it would have been a totally different story.. Staying in London for two years and also being there at the time of metro rail bomb blast, i know. The city came to halt for two days until everything was sorted out and the culprits were caught! I think the difference might be because of the information not spreading too wide too quickly. Hutch used to give its users SMS asking its subcribers to stay calm and stay away from certain area or something of that sort! but Vodafone didn't bother doing anything of that sort, infact i got SMS on special Rs 66 pack which gave 18 rupees talktime and call rate to mobiles at 50 paise per minute! lol... :) Anyways.. as i was saying, information doesn't gte through to people when the time is of the essence.

I was surfing the net, when i hit upon this site - http://www.entrepreneurs-journey.com/. It was quite interesting coz it had all these interesting stuff about young entrepreneurs and their very weird stories of success. You know, i have seen many such websites! but this one had one thing setting it apart. Podcasting! Its brilliant really, you can download an mp3 file of whatever! Let it be an interview of myspace marketting executive or just a lesson on product launch. Being all the way in India with very few people actually into the web development and marketing media, it definitely a phenomenal experience to actually get to listen all these famous bloggers and google wannabies just like myself! :) lol . I find it the best way to give out quality information. video takes time to load, and kids here are a little apprehensive of what they might see that they might not like! but for an audio file, you know its just one or two guys you are listening to, and it feels much more different really. More trust worthy and entertaining, coz its got that personal touch with soo much quality information thrown in. I will hopefully get accepted in the entrepreneurs-journey coahing classes. The sign up date is around 3 days from now, when the first batch starts! I have a blogging plan for iwebble but kinda in a fix on what material to start of with, i hope he will provide me with a good answer. I think i would do rather well catering to the indian market then American simply coz the numbers are much better here than there! and dumb users always mean more things for me to provide for them! Americans are kinda know it alls! So it would be rather bad thing to compete in their space! Well, i just thought i should catalog the day when i found use of pod casting! I have become a serious fan and i have started downloading mp3 files which i can listen to before going to sleep or during the weekends! Well, catchya later.

Dark times have just become darker! There seems to be at the present, as i type these lines 6 blasts in and around Bangalore City. Unfortunately 1 women has died and 3 are in critical conditions. The terrorist seem to have targeted odd places at odd time! Thankfully, or else the collateral damage would have been more astounding. Wait, i just heard Forum's hit!! Well, my bro is still at school and the media seems to be advising people to remain indoors, mom's having a dilemma whether to go and pick him up. I have called up the school and they have said there' s nothing to worry about! Well, SMS's are flying around all my pals, since we all have holidays, they are trying to check whether someone they know has been caught in commercial area! City seems to be going beserk! Some places have powercuts as well! I am not too worried or worked up about it, but the situation is a little tense. The bombs seems to be of low intensity and you won't believe this, there seems to be an eye witness how saw the bomb! I think this might be the first. How can see the bomb and not tell any body. He says he saw it below a rock! This is ridiculus, mind you i ain't making this stuff up. I reporting wharever happening right now on Tele! Man, TV9 just showed a live video of the MG road! Its totally blocked, even the cops seems dumb founded, like always! They seem to be getting the news little later than all of us! Man, at times like this, it makes you wonder whether Intellegence forces exisit in India!!!!!!! hey school kid just walked by my house, no School tom! He was screaming to his friend, they are planning to play cricket! lol.. bless them! Well, i think i will get more stuff for memories!!!

I have 2 good news for this post. One, the fact i have successfully laucnhed version 4 of webcampuz.com. I have just found out that http://www.webcampuz.com/index.php has Pagerank 1. I feels it been a good start, hopefully this get even better next year, but so far i a very proud of my achivements, i believe i have totally given it my 100 percent and remained commited through out! This last week has been kinda hectic, seems like i got my foot into many boats lol :) .... Well my mom keeps saying that, like its a bad thing.. :) The week isn't over yet, hopfully there are more eventfull and glorious thing to right about but right now, i am quite glad and excited with the developments i am scripting myself. lol :) Stay tuned, for more updates on my web dev projects.! Dark Times!

The news paper yesterday reported 5-7 hours of blackouts in bangalore! I am starting to feel really dismal looking at the news nowadays. It seems like everything that i have come to know and took for granted is going down the drain. We have water crisis, infrastructure crisis, political and economical crisis, petroleum crisis and now energy crisis! I am known by my close friends to be the optimistic one and person who always finds the brighter side of things! but sadly i am not able to do that anymore. My perspective of india has changed even further after the latest events that have taken place in the parliment, where ministers flaunted huge sums of cold cash and didn't even get attrested or cause a investigation to take place. Has this country really gone to dogs? Well, i donno for sure as i am just a teenager looking at the news but i know one thing for sure, This country has some serious issues which need immediate attention. The power cuts are really killing me, but i am trying to get some other pending stuff done during the period of Darkness. I wonder why the governemnt doesn't fix a time for the power cuts, some odd time rather than blinking the current on and off every few minutes. Its really frusturating!!! I went to Jayanagar today and bought myself two good novels which i hope to cover during the caveman time ! (No power period) as i like to call it. I will be writing the reviews on them as soon as i am done with them. Alright, Cathchya guys later. :)

My new Super K tennis Racket!!!!! Its awesome!

I bought a new tennis racket today - Super k tennis racket. Played against Anush for almost 4 hours straight! I think i am getting a little better at it, my back hand sucks though! Got to seriously work on it in the coming few days :) . Well gtg there seems to be big ruckus in Indian parliament today, it the day of confidence vote. Its quite comical scene seeing two elderly men bitch talk to each other lol. Well, i think its never going to change! God, it was soo sad to see the way Rahul gandhi delivered his speech, he couldn't utter a sentence fluently due to constant disruption from those loosers! Weekend at yercard! Tamilnadu

Okay, seems like quite a while since my last post. Well, i have been away this weekend. Me along with my bro and parents took off to weekend drive to Tamilnadu. Our journey began at saturday morning at around 8 in the morning and we reached a place called hognelkal by after where we spent some time at the super mini falls! Seriously, i really don't think you can call them water falls, it was more like a slight dip thats all. Anyways, we spent 200 bucks to get into a this small bowl boat made out of straw and plastic! Well will try to get the pictures up, haven't yet uploaded them as of now. Was planning to do this morning, but batteries kinda low so they are currently charging :). Well after hognekel we were off again, our next destination was to reach Salem which was 140 km way. Oh, before i forget to mention. The nation highway to Salem absolutely rocks. It is still under construction but man, it was absolute treat riding on that road! Well, my dad was driving, but it was equally fun sitting behind and eating junk lol. We stopped at salem for a quick breather and some Samber and idly which was quite Delicious.... ;) Then again we got on the car and were off to Yercard. It about 33 km but it took like ages to get there since the road had 20 hairpin bends and steep climb to 4800 metres above sea level. The view of Salem city at night was breathe taking!!!!! It was like all these tiny stars blinking away! it was really beautiful. We got into a hotel called Kongu resort, Which was alright! Decent room, decent tariff rate etc. Site seeing in Yercard the next morning didn't take too much time, we were able to cover the whole place in a matter of 4 hours. Not much to see :) but the climate and scenery was quite distressing and nice change from routine :). After that we were able to drive back slowly to bangalore by Sunday evening.... So the weekend was quite eventful and fun! I promise to upload those photos once i get them on to my comp!

Painful first day of holiday!

The morning got off to a flier... Got up, did little bit of work on my comp, read the newspaper, smsed few of friends and watched CNN for a while. Things started going bad when i went to play cricket! Well, there too initially everything was great. I took 3 wickets and deeply involved in the 8 over match. We were chasing about 40 odd runs in 8 overs, not a bad target. We had just lost the top order and it was up to me and Anush to carry on the battle. It was almost 4 years since i last touched a bat lol. I tried to scoop it above the fielder at midfield, which kinda failed and went directly to him. My misery didn't end there. It seems like i must have pulled one of my shoulder blade muscle and it started hurting me real bad! It was like someone stabbing you with a knife and then twisting that muscle! It was terrible pain :( . So i had to come back home, i drove myself with single handed on dio. Came home got massage and lyed down. When i open my eyes again it was lunch time. When i tried to get up, i just couldn't.. the pain had crept to all over my left arm and back... I pulled a brave face and got up baring the pain, trying not to show it to my mom. So the whole day was pretty painfull! Went to bed early, and hoped that it would decrease in the morning. Well, it did or else i wouldn't be writting this post would i. The pains still there but the pain of not sitting in front of the comp seems to be little greater at the moment. :) So i am back... Yep, quite anxious about that actually! :) Bharat's got his head shaved in thirupathi today and currently on his way to Vijayawada. We had amazing fun today. We got to forum a little late than we initially planned, thanks to Kushal :) the fancy pants. He takes lots of time for makeup and stuff like that! lol. Never the less, it turned out to be a good thing. We took tickets for Get Smart since we were too late to get Hancock. Mann, i bet 90 percent of people in forum today morning were all VTU students. Met loads of pals from different colleges accross the city. The movie Get smart was incredibly funny. The story, dialogs, actions and even little bit of perverty romance as well! I would give it 4.5 stars! Not 5 coz i don't like Anna hathaway, her charecter in the movie is supposed to have a face transpalent, trust me she looks like she had one for real! lol :)

Well, here are some pics from that movie. Steve Carrel's timing was explicit as usually. I intially thought it would be difficult for him to lose that "Office Boss" tag. Hi, been a long time since my last post, almost 3 days i think. Well, today math exam didn't go too well. I guess i will get the marks i deserve for the shabby preparation :) Whats done is done and cannot be undone! So lets me not talk anymore about that. Its holiday season again! Yippe, back to comp work... Man do i have loads of work or what! Got to finish off as much as possible. I think our college will be reopening on JULY 13 or so :) So a month of holidays! Tom, there is an corporate outing kinda thing only for the webblers.. at forum mall. Hopefully we get titckets for Hancock or maybe even Kunfu panda wouldn't be bad one. HTC Dream vs Apple iphone 3G!

Until yesterday i looked at iphone 3g as a god sent phone! It still hasn't released here in india yet, so i thought i will do a little snooping and take a look at what other users who have bought it, have to say. I was looking for unbiased, non apple fan reviews. They aren't easy to find! :) (Compliment to Apple). So i went about looking at its features or rather as i found out the lack of them. Here is the clean list of things, you will not find on iphone - The phone of all phones.

Starting from the most shocking to the lesser shocking :)

1. Cannot transfer files such as mp3, images via bluetooth!
2. No flash or Java support, so this means all the websites suck apart from apples itune and istore!
3. Cannot insert any other SIM card, this means shelling out loads of bucks for a data plan which you won't probably need. Bill might come to around Rs 2500/month.
4. Not a 5 megapixel camera that apple promised but just 2 MPX without video recording.
5. No FM
6. No mp3 ringtones.
7. No cut copy paste!

Well, the list can go on and on.... These are the basic things, which differentiates us from cave man! Quite sad that iphone isn't providing these features. Apple is just creating all this hype since its a new commer into the mobile industry. So my advice, is to stay away from it.

So what to look forward to?

Well, there is the new HTC DREAM which will be running on Google Android. Google on the other hand is a Saint. It knows that, it has no experience in the mobile hardware industry and hence sought after developing an application platform called Android, which is open source. So even you and i can now start up a mobile company and make awesome phones lol! I have tried my hands on the Android SDK pack which they provide ( Free again! ) but soon realised it was way over my head. I think i might have to grow a little older to start working on that :). Companies like Nokia and HTC have already designed mobile phones with the google platform.

Well, its that time again. Semester is coming to a end, we will be freshers no more. Entering into the second year, everybody well, at least some of them if not most have thoughts and ambitions regarding their career choice and the path that needs to be taken. I too was pondering on this matter, the other day. A very strange funda struck to me! it seemed like if anybody wanted to take thier life by the horns and weild it, initially lots of effort and most importantly a 100 dollar bill was essential. $100 dollars is roughly about 4500 rupess. A friend of mine is very much interested in becoming a tennis professional player, he is in a delimma whether or not to invest $100 on it. Another pal of mine loves music, espicially drums. A drum kit cost about $100, maybe little more. Got other fella who wants to become a JAVA .net programmer, he need $100 for getting into coaching class. Well, i hope you get my point. There will be a lot expenditure throught out our life, but that $100 dollar bill, is what i really think counts. Has my $100 bill come and gone. My web server cost approx that much. Now, i am a harderned fan of the internet and web development. My passion has been intensified! Could that have been my $100 bill??? :) Well, if it is. I have no regrets that my $100 bill pointed me in this direction. Or that fact that i have chosen this path! I think, if someone did a little bit of research on this, very interesting details will come out. Wonder how gates and Lashmi Mittal spent $100 dollars bill?? What could they have bought? or what could they have spent on that made them successful! Well anyways, this thought occured to me, thought it would something valuable to share and remember in the future. Got to get back to my book. One more exam to go and i am scott free! hurray! :) My exams end on July 15. :)

Finally the must dreaded exam has come to an end, this was far better than my basic electronics paper which i took in the first year! thats for sure. Been extremely busy with sooo much of pending work to do. I am currently working on webcampuz version 4. Its totally fantastic i promise you that! Its looks totally cool, and very easy to edit. The main reason for shifting for the current platform is that the navigation seems to be too difficult to edit. I have stupidly hard coded all the menu navigations, which has lead to a terrible mess. Now working with WordPress CMS, things are looking very promising. I will be finished in about a week or so, I have math exam coming up on JULY 15. So will have to prepare for that as well. Anyways, i am on the lookout for someone who is quite handly with the desgning tools such as photoshop or whatever. Hopefully i will find him soon. Alright, got to get back to work. Catchya later. iwebble.com adorns a new look today. Drupal kinda let me down with the complex taxonomy module, which made it near impossible for me to actually, categorize my articles. So i have now shifted back to wordpress. The 2.51 version seems god sent! :) I have new target for iwebble and its quite a simple one. By August 6, iwebble should be more than qualified for being a part of 9rules.com. This is definitely enhance my status on the web if i can achieve this. Man, whenever someone utters the word civil to me, there is only one thing, infact one person i am remained off. Our civil teacher! He is sooooo energetic and has this really squeaky voice! Trust me you don't want to get her started.. Anyways, Civil is done. So no more Civil from today, which is quite a relief. It has been quite boring since yesterday. Things are going great. There is one news which i am hidding, hopefully if everything goes well, i will post it or else i think we can skip the fact. If's its soo secretive why mention you wonder? Probably the most tensed and distracting examination i have ever taken. I the exam was pretty clear and alright, But fate had its say today. Yesterday when i planed to take a nap i set the alarm for 3 : 30 in the afternoon, this was set in the recurring alarm function. I forgot to change it today and paid the price. I kept my cell in my bag, i usually keep the cell phone in my vehicle during the exam time but today, i forgot. So , at 3 : 30 exactly half way through my exam, my cell started ring, outside. Man was i tensed or what, i kept having thoughts whether i would be caught for bringing my cell phone to college and especially during the exam times. The sound of milling going on outside kinda subdued the noise a little bit. You see, sony ericson has this very naughty software which is designed to ring the alarm ever 10 minutes until it is switched off properly. So every ten minutes it starts ringing loudly! Man i keep praying the battery would die out. It did have a huge impact in my answers! I mean they were ill phrased, not thought off! and shabby. Phew anyways, what done is done! Its all part and parcel of Exams. This is definitely be something very interesting story to tell anyone. :) I have Civil after 4 days from now. Its my birthday today, did a few traditional things in the morning. Wore news cloths bought from my Fav store SKC :), Cut mom's home made cake, and answered loads of phone call greetings :). You get kinda nice and happy warm feeling when someone calls you and wishes you "Happy birthday", don't you? Its definitely a welcome emotion during this miserable exams month! For the record : Apu was the first to call me at 12 in the night! :) Really sweet of her to do that! That girl seems to have a pretty good night life lol! She told me that she usually goes to bed at around 3 o clock! Man, i have never seen 3 o clock! no wait, i have a few times when i woke up from bad dreams or go to toilet! lol! don't think that would count though, since i would have my eyes half closed!

I am eagerly waiting for my pals to come home. They will be here for Lunch around about 12 o clock, around 2:30 hours from now. I got loads of exciting news as soon as i got up actually! The front page of Times of India had a big advertisement for pre booking of the new Apple Iphone 3G. Guess what, i have booked mine today! :) It is good that Iphone will be releasing in July. Dad'd made a new discovery regarding the data entry problem that we had, He is little experienced with Excel. So this will speed up the whole process by 3000 percent!! lol :) So most of the data we wanted to collect from CET CELL will now be automatic, no data entry required! Was talking to Raghu( A pal of mine, who's living in states.) yesterday regarding project collaboration. He has 3 people in his group. So they will be having a board meeting kinda thing, and hopefully all details regarding the merger will be clear today. DML project is on course. Hopefully i can get it up and running by September 1st, as i promised earlier. Magento will be releasing its version 1.1 in July hopefully they mean early july! I really want to be in the thick of it as soon as my exams get over! Well, got to go and help mom clean up the house before the guest come! Ciao!

My birthday's tom!! Will be 19 tom!!! lol.. Last year of teenage life! :( Thats really something!! I shall make the best use of my final year as a teenager! i guess that shall be my resolution for my next year! All's going well for webcampuz.com which touched another milestone of 60,000 imprs today. It has been about 20 days i think, since the counter started ticking and i think it is quite a good response. Students and parent are finding it quite useful i guess. I feel little sad that i couldn't be of much help to COMEDK students :( . They seem to be really digging around for the information which no body is providing. I will be working on COMEDK counselling for the coming year. Well, i am still not able to get around completing my portions for the upcoming sem exams! Things are getting till tense! Saying that, as you can probably see - i am typying away at this post... when D-day is fast approaching. Yep, you guessed it - i seem to be very much de-focussed on the exams. phew! there i said it! Glad i got that out of system. So i guess this might( Just might be ) the last post for this month!! Boo hoo.. Will have to cut down on internet time or else, i might not be able to secure a decent percentage. lol :) Drupal - iwebble project has got a strong foundation now and all that is ahead is typying loads of useful content into it.

I have also decided to shift my servers to hostmonstor.com from Startlogic.com! Coz of magento and they say the grass is greener on the hostmonstor side :) lol. Anyways, the downtime of the site and the trouble they have put me through just isn't worth it to stick with them for one more year. I would recommend it for starters though, coz it has good interface and very quick support who are ready to answer stuff anytime you contact them. But server performance etc! Ain't worth it.

The joomla interface and templates which seems to be churning out for joomla have intimidated me. I am starting to wonder where Joomla would have been a better move. Saying that, most of the glossy stuff which i saw came at a price! nothing less than 40 dollars. Until now Drupal has been absolute free and quite customisable. I feel navigation is something i will have really put my head into in my iwebble - Drupal project. I think it is just lack of vision and experience with how this drupal CMS architecture works. I am sure i will be able to cutomise at will once i get the hang off it. I just hope i not in further dilemma on whether choosing Drupal over Joomla is best choice. So hopefully i will be following only Drupal from today! Phew my head seems a lot clearer now! Well got to go and study something only, 10 more days left for the theory paper exams. magento dies due to non existance of "pdo_mysql" extension!

The much awaited magento installation has hit a dead end! Since i have a shared server with startlogic.com, who do not allow the installation of "Pdo_mysql" extension on the server. So my only options seems to be shifting to a newer server maybe for the next year! I will have be look out for fast, affordable and reliable hosting services right from now! This has been a very depressing news to me! That i won't be able to install magento which i have been dreaming about since i first laid my eyes on it. I gues i will have a wait a little longer for the installation. Until then hopefully magento guys will come out with the much waited 1.1 version release. I have reinstated the iwebble plan. It no longer consists of social networking, but has moved on to content distribution. So went around to check out few CMS which are available out there, and came to a conclusion that Drupal has the future and according to few forum topics, it is very flexible and i skip it and run something of mine if i wanted to! So iwebble will now be running on Drupal 6.2 platform, and idea behind it will the idea which it was designed for! "Finding pearls among pebbles". I still working on a few details regarding what kinda content to stuff into iwebble and also the future plan of the site. Well i better get back! Loads of modules and things to figure out.

Today i had my mechanical workshop lab, Which didn't go too well either! Was very unlucky, since morning! Being Friday the 13th things seems more conspiring than friendly! Got up with terrible cold and headache! Well, you won't believe this! I bought 4 hexa blades and broke 3 of them, during the first cut of the soft metal itself! Something which is close to impossible! Never had i broken the blade during the first cut and that too, 3 of them! Thank fully my forth blade didn't brake, So that was a relief. The welding didn't go too well. Kinda screwed up the whole thing, otherwise it was pretty fine. :) Me still feeling little tired and having body pains( Workshop lab is sheer labor i tell ya!). Will have to get some sleep now!

Yep, the iphone 3G is here. Whats new about it, well basically you take the old iphone which already is next-gen and add more powerful applications to it, you will get iphone 3G. The features i like would be :
1. The extended battery life.
2. New 3G browsing speed.
3. 5 MPX camera
4. 8 GB memory!!!
5. Internet browsing!

Well it has tons of other feature which totally rock! and the most attractive part of the iphone 3G is definately the price. I think anyone can shell out 200 dollars for the James bond gadget like iphone.

I am anxiously awaiting the release. I hear that apple has bought down the macbook prices as well, Looks like apple is definitely going for the complete electronic industry kill this year! Thats good! Now microsoft faces 2 competitions... Google and Apple! Well you guys all the best. I personally would like microsoft to cringe a little bit and stop this monopoly! Finally i have been migrated after 7 months of long wait, and hours of chatting with the support staff! So now the configuration PHP 5.2 and MYsql 5.5 So, Thats good! I can now install my magento script online! I am currently FTPing it using filezilla! Hopefully i will have fewer installation problems than i did on local server installation. i feel that vdeck 2.0 had a little better graphical interface than, vdeck 3.0 Which has icons and text links everywhere. There have been a few security related changes as well, Which has disrupter my database names and stuff. So i guess i will have change the code after a while for the SSLC program! Things are going quite well now. Apart from the academical point of View! lol :) SO i better get back to do some lite reading! lol

Yep.. kinda screwed up my physics lab practicals today. I was unlucky to get the most complex experiment( according to me, Some might find it easy ) "Transistors". I was quite confident that i wouldn't end up with that, but unfortunately i did and the results i hope aren't worse! On the other hand i am quite glad that no more physics lab in my life! I never liked the physics lab, they were hardly inspiring. Simply do as told in the book!! Donno.. why i am feeling quite depressed, that i am unable to fare well with theoretical examinations! Anyways i still have a good chance of covering up and catching up with peers, hopefully i will be able to manage it! (I mean get a decent score again!) Well catchya guys later then! Bye bye.

Man.. exams and test never stop! My second sem exams are just round the corner. Well i feel quite immune to exam stress but it really eating up some part of the virtual memory.. in my head which i am not very comfortable with.. Its this small voice in my head which keep probing me.. "17 more days to go.. you haven't finished anything!" and stuff like that! Well anyways, i am trying to install magento onto my local server, till now partly successful and am trying to push my luck a bit further :) I have got Physics lab practical exams tom. SO will have to prepare for that right after this installation process is complete. :) I have found a fix around the multiple item selection in magento, So quite happy about that. The biggest hurdle seems to the be the catalog of 60,000 items and the SMS capability. hhmm i gues thats i have to report for now. Catch you guys later. Bye bye. Oh ya. I love the orkut's new themes! Things are looking pretty good now! Getting good crowd daily. Some exciting stuff has been happening these few days like for example the discovery of magento which is an e-commerce open source! Magento is definitely the best open source application i have ever seen! Its like no other and its quite surprising that it is open source. Though i haven't yet been playing on it, since it required php 5.2 or later and i am still running on php 4.5! But going through the demo's and user experience i can tell that it is what i have been looking for delivermylist.com project. I have been notified that i will be shifted to the new server anytime now! Maybe in a day or two, So can hardly wait for the installation to happen and getting things started for DML! I will have to do a lot of work to implement my the concept of DML into magento. I feel quite confident that i will be able to achieve this, sooner or later! Well my study plan is going for a toss with this addiction to the internet lol but i think i am prety much at the top things! Well gtg now! Catchya guys later.

Something really exciting has happened. I was just checking my mail, today when i was what i had been waiting for from past 3 days. Google had excepted me as a part of their open social developer forum. :) Well have loads of experimenting to do, and hopeful can come out with a good open social gadget very soon. There are already 125 gadgets lying out around and it will definitely get more and more crowded as time goes by. June 1st is open us! The preparation date has come. I am running low of inspiration juice right now and i feel majority of blame should go adsense program. I feel the conversion hasn't been effective as i was expecting it to be. I feel little let down by the system. Today has been absolutely a miserable zero productivity day. Went to college in the morning, played some TT, came back home slept for almost 4 hours in the after noon, as my servers had crashed and there was nothing i could do about them. The problem seems to be fixed and the site is running quite fine now. I haven't yet started my preparations for the semester exams yet! The projects are getting a thorough check up again, and revenue models are something which i seem to be lacking, and added to that the funding and marketing ideas as well. God i hate feeling miserable, never felt this miserable since the i got my PUC results! Well i hope there are no more crappy surprises awaiting me for the rest of the evening. well i joined verve earth today as you can see the on to right. I think that Stanford CEO who started verve is doing pretty good for himself. Its quite nice idea and i think it might just work out, If there are loads of sign ups every day. Hhmm blogging is awesome, feeling better already.. ok optimistic drive is kicking in.. i can feel it!! Well there is lot more time to go for all the development to happen. I am still the king of cunning ideas and shrewd marketing schemes, i am sure i will figure out something for all these web venture projects to work out. I am still only 18 years old. More days will pass and i will be on top of the game. :) This is one of the reason why i love blogging, We get blurt out the ill feelings and our head feels much more clear than it did a few minutes a ago. lol :) i sure many bloggers will understand what i mean, but for the rest it might seem a little weird. delivermylist.com(Click here): This is my favourite project! It is a interface between a grocer and a costumer. With multi vendor system and sms list ordering. iwebble.com(Click here): This is my favourite domain name lol. The site has kinda lost its way, so probably need to re plan what it can be used for. Initial idea was to have a social networking website for all the tech schools in Bangalore or maybe even India. You know kinda create a knowledge city of students exchanging ideas and troubleshooting there problems with ease but not many seem to be interested, and after joining engineering college came to realize they are only into girls and films(Well you cant blame them! lol ).

eamcetpractice.com(CLick here): This is the same concept as webcampuz.com which was released for Andra Pradesh students. Got more students from EAMCET than initially anticipated.

Mp3 player: Yep thats right! I am building my very own ipod. I have looked in the technology, which doesn't seem to be too complicated and hence want to pick up some open source standards and build my own mp3 with costum application. Got a lead in this project, it is only a matter of time till i paste a picture of the finished work on this blog. Will be getting my hands dirty during the first year vacations. :)

Automated traffic system: This is 3rd year project. Initially we want to build a inline robot, and build a automated traffic system to help out this ruddy city manage its traffic congestion, which is getting worst by the minute.

With more features and better user interface and much fewer bugs, version 3 of webcampuz.com looks pretty cool. until now it was all about more powerful and new features to attract youngsters and parents. Now just before the KCET counselling season webcampuz has got a make over so that everyone has a easy browsing experience. There are still a few bug problems to tackle but the whole site has much better look and feel about it. With aggressive red, black and white theme it has become probably one of the better looking educational sites. Old forum is out and new Ajax discussion community is in. The whole thing looks quite promising to me, for the coming year as well. My next aim is to make sure Google ranking does increase by creating some partnerships and using SEO's.
Well its quite boring at home. Got guest, but none which are have something interesting to say to me. :( We got Mech lab tom which i am very afraid of right now. i would have to finish 2 models in fitting and thats a really horrible experience. As i have mentioned before, we have to cut thick metal pieces using a saw in the right shape and make the 2 metal pieces fit nicely! Its pure hard labor! Anyways.. nothing interesting to report. Hurray my internals got postpned, to wednesday or thursday! Not really sure about that either. We are very poorly informed in our college. Knowledge city?? Well very poorly managed one i think. Anyways, more time for me to do what i like so me not really complaing. Got good news and bad news to report today. First the good news : hhm oh ya, i have already mentioned it our internals have been postponed! Thought for a moment had something else to say, anyways Many bad news now that i think about it! 15th cross mainroad(Very iportant junction close to my house where approx 20 lakh people transit very single day!) underpass is finally under construction, so all the traffic is deviated towards the road that i travl to get to college. Peaceful quite side roads have now become a part of Bangalore lol ;) i think thats the best way to put it! So travelling to college is no fun anymore. 2nd bad news is that i uninstalled mozilla firefox, coz it was terribly slow and i am trying to installing again using this pathetic internet explorer 7 its takes ages! I installing the Firefox college edition. Hopefully that will be gr8. Hopefully! hhmm the third bad news is that my key board seems to been nearing its last stages. i having to press really hard for the keys to work. I guess everything god thing does have an end! Booo Hoo. Gosh the letter "b" on the keyboard is refusing to work! b b bbbb you might not believe it but that took almost a 30 seconds to type those b's lol :) I think a new laptop willing be heading my way, pretty soon. Man one even the letter "o" is started giving problems! Gosh seriously hope it doesn't break down before i finish this post.. But its a good excuse for all the typo's i am making though. "Its not my fault the keys are not woring properly lol ;) " . Well The forth bad news is that i have internals on wednesday. Yippe Download complete!! Firefox i mean.. excellent. You know what? I think we probably had around about 45 working days in the second semester! The college's been off since past one month either due to teacher not turning up, or the student doing a mass bunk! lol. Well No complaints from my side. I am absolutely Lovin it!! Gives me loads of time to mess around and get some of the vast amounts of work that i have given myself :) . Today 2 was a holiday, we went to college early in the morning (Basically at 9! ) and guess what they shoo us off!! Arrrg!! So the first period was basically table tennis, which i feel i am getting good at every single day. What friends don't know is that i am downloading all my new moves from youtube lol :) Well DML project is coming along quite fine. Was searching for a good magazine theme for DML, think i have found one which is up to my satisfaction. My third internals are just around the corner. Its on Monday in fact. :( No college, donno what the syllabus is, but internals are on schedule. Hey forgot to give you guys the good news. Our Final exams have been postoned for another week, So they will be starting of on JUNE 26. Yippe so thats gives me another 40 days of study holidays, which most probably i will be spending on the net! lol.. Hopefully not. I am learning to resit now! ;) Well after seeing this simple blog being posted up on blogged, kinda gives nice boost in moral, regarding the whole blogging thingy! IPL MATCH ROCKED!!!!!!

Man!! yesterday went out for watching the IPL match along with my parents and bro. The match was quite an interesting one since, both the teams i.e Hyd and Bang hadn't one more than one match each so quite a crucial match indeed for both the teams. It was the first time i actually went to a stadium to watch an cricket match. Well think its my second, the first time i had gone to a test match which was absolutely boring :( . Yesterday was totally different. IPL twenty matches are super exciting, what with Katrina coming along, cheer girls from United States. legendary cricketing stars from different countries. The atmosphere was simply electrifying. The turnout was pretty good, around 30000 people turned up i suppose maybe more! Cheering, leering, Shouting, throwing, giggling, laughing You name it! It was all happening. The match was fantastic, very close now as well. Bangalore came out victorious at the end, winning by 3 runs. Which was highly likely since me and Kat were present and cheering on for the Royal Challengers. lol. It is definitely one of those experiences which i certainly will never forget in my life. Dad's Planning to book tickets for one more match :) Cool huh?
Well i am currently working on releasing a portal for SSLC students. Dad's taking lots of interest in it since he his giving morning tuition's to bro in the morning and wants to help out many other students! :) SO that's currently under construction and almost done actually, Just trying to implement it with the webcampuz.com which is already live and kicking! lol. Apu's Back from US, with loads of interesting things to tell. In brief, she had an Rocking time there. Bharat has become serious nerd, Kushal's sister's got 143 in CET and 92 percent in PUC. congrats/Kudos to her! hhmm Anush seems to be getting around to studying a little nowadays. As for college.. not many classes have taken place to talk about it. Got good marks in Physics internals. Eargerly awaiting Mech internals. Hopefully, that will go well. Ok then, will get back those SSLC students then. Ciao :)

Well i am kicking my self for not get my ass off dreamweaver and blogging! Well those trickle of Internet fans our there, Million times sorry for the really late post!! You missed quite a lot actually, Many things have happened. Firstly our college fest: It was kinda dull, Didn't attend the 2nd day so couldn't really participate in many events! but according to what i have heard, i was all dull and boring apart for the treasure which always is awesome fun. The third day rock show was well worth watching, it was showcase of brilliant stage talent! It kinda made you feel like picking up a guitar and start practicing some tune or maybe start your own band and choreographing new dance steps lol!!! Well it was seriously entertaining for those who had soul for music and dance. Unfortunately, i don't seem to be having a music chip installed in my brain! Never really appreciated it too much! and i am very hard to please when in comes to music. It has to Jazzy, yet simple and scuttle! I don't even like to or know how to hum a tune! Just listen to the music and that's that. Very sad i agree, maybe in these 4 years of social gathering and engineering peer pressure will knock some musical sense into me. Its never too late, I would love to get going before i going Google!! lol ;) Yep me still after google! like some crazy dog running after its tail!! lol hopefully can be that exceptional dog which can bite its own tail!! lol ..... Well this is one of the reasons why i love blogging sooo much, You can type whatever you want! And still readers like your self will have a smile while reading this. Well internals haven't gone well. Actually i think i can safely say that i have screwed them big time. Delivermylist.com is going on pretty well! In fact the first version is ready for release only problem is that i do not have a complete database of the grocery items, which i feel will be my first big hurdle in making this project a success. i have also kept a close eye on a in line robot car project which i have been fascinated about since a very young age, and recently a guy from RNSIT ( Who came to propagate the fest ) told me it would take any normal kid just matter of 2 days to complete the robot! Not sure how much truth is in what he is trying to say, but i think it safe to conclude that its not going to be like inventing a rocket or something of that sort.
I hoping to brief up on python as well, which i hope to complete during the holidays. The class have become very boring for a novice like me. Don't know jack about whats going on actually. Bharat's become a right prick and a big time nerd! Gosh there is a lot of change in him since that attendance shortage letter reached his home. Hopefully we will have the old Bharat whom we loved soo much the international badminton player! lol Kushal too has shifted his gear towards studies and other boring stuff. Anush hasn't really done anything constructive as usual.. Anush is still just Anush, oh i forgot he has joined the same gym i go to, So its a good pass time working out. He is a little fanatic about getting abs though lol. Kushal will be shifting soon to JP Nagar 7th phase. He has got into a PG very close to Anush's place, Just a hop Skip and jump across from Anush's house as a matter of fact.! Oh ya.. Pavan gave us a treat today in a restaurant. His B day is on April 9th.. and he gave us treat today!!!

Well thats about it for now. Oh ya Apu hasn't come back from US yet. She might be back on 28 i suppose. Krippy, Navs and Shubha are all super as usual!!! lol.. I think i covered everybody. I will take leave now. See you all later. Hopefully my next post will be very soon! Bye bye ;)

Today i became an Adwords Client!

Well one more new frontier established, I have registered an account in adwords and have 2 active campaigns. So Basically quite serious about marketing. Dad the investee of course. He thinks that he will get back what he has spent, Lets hope so!! :) Adwords i feel will be the quite successful and since it is the counselling season every potential user is a possible costumer for the webcampuz services. I am currently reinstalling my windows OS again for the 2nd time. So Thought i will do some blogging on my dad's laptop while the long process happens! Windows seems very volatile, very much prone to attacks!!! A single Spyware made an amazing Company's product obsolete! Which is quite sad. I feel Microsoft should come out with very good security packages and keep updating to safe gaurd their current user. I am seriously thinking of dumping windows. Hope Google or Yahoo or some else can come out with a better peice. I don't understand why do i even have windows on my laptop. Why should every one buy windows. Things would be much better and faster if people actually accessed their files and ran their program on one big server! Wouldn't that be great, Not for windows it wouldn't but for an high end user like me, for whom computer speed and accessibility is very vital it would be really useful! Ways i found out news social networking site today. Very impressed with it! Its called Moli and thats has taken the social networking to the next level, Forget Facebook, forget Orkut Moli might be the future. It is built really well. Looks like a destop with alien ware skin on it and has soo many feature which are vital in the web 2.0 world! Well my exams will be starting on Wednesday. Haven't yet got around reading anything as of yet. Might start off today i suppose. Found a good script for mailing list management called PuMMo which is a free ware and absolutely fantastic. Very happy with about that. My account hasn't yet been shifted to the new vdeck 3.0... Hhhm well that's about it basically! Cant wait for these internals to get over, I hope to finish of designing delivermylist.com is record speed. Hopefully i will be successfully in completing it within a week or so that would be realy good!

The frequency of these posts seem to be getting slimmer by the month. I feel i have jumped on too many boats at the same time. With 5 websites in my Kitty i hardly have any free time even to catch up on the general news or have a decent chat with my relatives lol. Well I will try to catalog everything i can recollect that occurred during this week.

Yesterday we got the feel of what Mechanical was all about!! It was our fist Fitting lab, Where all the 15mm inch metal pieces are to be manual cut with high precision! Man was a trying thing to do!!! Still we got our hands dirty and gave it all we got. Come on, if girls were able to manage it with a brave face why couldn't we They G team was we now call ourself do it.. G stands for many things- Genius, Gym goers, etc etc.. Will elaborate on this point a little later. lol
Class are going as usual! Plain old boring lectures... Nothing going into my head! lol
Anush's Bike has been delayed.. He hasn't yet talked about it since we got the quotation. Bharat has taken himself to the next level of GEEKism and is studying questions almost everyday! Kushal well Kushal is being himself ;) . I feel have got even more lazy than i used to be... lol.
Hhhmm lets see what else there to tell ya.....
Well Heroes season 2 has come to an end, So tuesdays will be boring again! Hopefully LOST season 3 releases soon, Cant wait for that.. it will be totally awesome.
Registrations for webcampuz have increased many folds! yesterday i got my first support call. it was a girl from Christ College who had a problem with loggin in! Her dad thanked me for providing free test papers and stuff So that was pretty cool!
We have our Internals on 9,10 and 11th. Unfortunately it is clashing with Raja Uncles House warming ceremony, so unfortunately i won't be able to attend that.. Tippu has scored 65 in his first sem exams, his results were out yesterday or day before i suppose. My account hasn't yet been migrated to Vdeck3.0 but no complaints about it. Since i am not using any of the additional features they have added to the current panel AT THE MOMENT!
We haven't yet had a chance to speak to Chenraj Jain After we gave him that presentation. Well thats basically about it! got to get back and fix some more bugs! see ya.

Well the previous week was quite fun. We gave our presentation to 5 colleges, which went really well. All the princi's and other management head who listened to us gave really good response. I have decided to not to take any ad revenue this year, but the experience was valuable gain enough to have me satisfied for now!!! lol. Hey results were out for 1st sem! I scored 79 % Quite happy about the decent score.. Passed in basic scoring just 35!! Hurray! Kushal scored well around 86 and Bharat and Anush got 81 percent. So its a jolly good results. Lots of treats being passed around. We have our 2nd internals coming up soon, they will start on 9th of this month. Nayva scored 89, Kripy scored 81, Shubha scored 84 and Apoorva scored 79!! Well i mentioning these names coz they are usually tossed around in most of the conversations that happens in college within our group! Hope i have said it right! lol or else i will be big trouble. Anyways.. Webcampuz nows picked up its pace and loads of registrations are happening very day. We have released mock counselling and college ranking as well. One more memorable experience! On Monday, we went MES college for distributing the cards, unfortunately the response wasn't really that good but we did manage to give away around 150 cards, So i guess i should be pleased with that. After distributing the cards i thought chilling out at Kushal's Place for awhile. The traffic was really horrible, So i thought i will catch a breather in Kushal's place. Donno why, but i just got an idea of giving that presentation which i prepared a few weeks ago...

So we made our way to the college and we got lucky. Chenraj jain was not only available but free to hear us out as well. So we gave the presentation to him, basically i did the talking and Kushal did the laughing.. which he normally does when ever he gets excited!! Well he was certainly blow over my our cheeky comments and our tone of passion. It was really a very good experience interacting with him. He didn't actually buy our advertising services since he didn't really believe in the our advertising program i suppose but was very interested to fund us. He asked us how much we had spent and i told him 8,000 INR and he quickly replied saying "Ok i give u 8,000 rupees noo problem"... Initially we were speechless, we didn't expect anything from him and we were going to walk out successful.. it's probably one of my proudest moments. He even called up his other entrepreneurs and introduced us to them and asked to work as a team. He promised to tutor us to be entrepreneurs, Send us UK for doing our masters in Telecom and Communication, Register a new company on our name.. well the list is quite endless.

Since we actually are no need of funding right now, and the idea of selling off webcampuz is quite frigthening, we are refusing to accept the money but agreeing to work with the other company owners like ICS to build delivermylist.com ICS is basically another company spnsored my Jain and they are into the SMS gateways and stuff. It most definitely one of my most memorable moments of my life. :)

My first stage appearance! During the Comp freshers party!

Thursday night will probably be one of those special nights which i will never forget in my life. Kinda in a hurry so i will just get to the point, We had our freshers party on thursday! Yes i know, it is a little late since we are already in second sem! But what the heck.. Anyways i took part in a competition where they called out 4 male and 4 female volunteers to come on the stage. I don't like to miss out on such opportunities. So Anush, Bharat and me Walked on to the stage. We were supposed to pair up, and i luckly got paired up with probably the hottest girl in CS branch! lol :). Yep, She is from Punjab and her names Shuba! Anyways i got a lot of stick from my pals when i went back to take my seat. Well the competition was quite a ridiculous one. The girl had to tie rubber bands on the guys head for 30 seconds and then the guy had to do the same for the next 30 seconds. It was a tie between our team, thats Subha and me and then Anush and his patner! lol So again we had to do the same thing once more this time the time limit was just 30 seconds and we won by one rubber band!! lol :) i got a blue cup for it! Well after that there was some more dancing and entertainment. At 8 30, they called out the names for Mr and Mrs fresher, I seriously didn't expect to be amongst the top 6 but lol :) even Bharat got selected, amongst the top 6. The whole Mr fresher thing didn't go too well for me it was my first stage appearance as well but the whole Experience was amazing! We had 3 days holiday after that, which went into web designing. The last day, we searched for a PG for Kushal and managed to find a really good now, brand new pent house for him!
